Christmas Candy Appliques - Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach
You can us these on Dog Sweaters and hats,
or as ornaments, gift wrap decorations,
or as ornaments, gift wrap decorations,
appliques for hats, sweaters, scarves, bags. Stockings.
Put a string of them together and make
a garland or window decoration.
And you can make then out of any weight of yarn,
just make sure to match the crochet hook with the yarn.

Christmas Candy Applique Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach
Materials:
Crochet Hook
– H
Yarn –
Worsted Weight (4) or Cotton.
Small Amount of Red and White or
Green and White.
I used I Love This yarn Sparkle
and Peaches and Cream Cotton
Yarn Needle for weaving in Ends.

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch
(sl st)
Single
Crochet (sc)
Double
Crochet (dc)
Size : 3.5 X 2.5
Candy Pattern:
R: 1 - With
2 strands of yarn, 1 of white and 1 of red or green,
Ch 5, counts
as 1st dc, 11dc in the 4th ch from the hook, join in a
circle,
(12dc)
R : 2 – Cut
the Red/Green Yarn only, with the 1 strand of white yarn,
*2sc in the
next st, 1 sc in the next st*
Repeat From
* to * again,
Ch 6 sl st
in the same st, ch 6, sl st in the same st,
Repeat From
* to * 3 times,
Ch 6 sl st in the same st, ch 6, sl st in the same st,
2 sc in the next st, 1 sc in the last st
Ch 6 sl st in the same st, ch 6, sl st in the same st,
2 sc in the next st, 1 sc in the last st
Candy Cane – With 2 strands of
yarn, Ch 25, turn,
Sl st in the
2nd ch from the hook, sl st back down the hook, tie off,
Weave in
your ends. It will have a natural curl.
