Granny Flag Table Runner Crochet Pattern

I designed this Table Runner With the Granny Square in
the Center, From the Flag Granny Square,
that I designed few years ago.
It looks difficult, but it is really very easy.
And although, I used Patriotic colors, it would also look great in Christmas colors, Fall colors or any color combination you like.
Granny Flag Table Runner Crochet Pattern
Skill: Easy
Materials:
Hook - H / 5.00MM
Yarn - Worsted Weight ( 4)
3 oz of each - Royal Blue, White, Red and golden Rod
I used Red heart Super Saver yarn
Needle for weaving in ends
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (sl st)
Single Crochet
Double Crochet (dc)
space (sp)
Size: 40 X 16 inches
We Start with one 12 inch Flag Granny Square
(R: 1 - R: 16)
R: 17 - Join the red yarn to the 2nd ch2 space on the left side of the bottom of the square.
ch3 (counts as a dc) 2dc in the ch2 sp. ch2
3 dc, ch2 in the next 7 ch2 sps,
3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2 in the next ch2 sp ( which is the corner)
3 dc, ch2 in the next 8 ch2 sps, Turn, ch 5 (counts as dc, ch2)
R: 18 - 3dc in the ch5 sp, ch2,
3 dc, ch2 in the next 8 ch2 sps,
3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2 in the next ch2 sp ( which is the corner)
3 dc, ch2 in the next 8 ch2 sps,
ch2, 1 dc in the last dc, Turn
R: 19 - ch3 (counts as a dc) 2dc in the ch2 sp. ch2
3 dc, ch2 in the next 7 ch2 sps,
3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2 in the next ch2 sp ( which is the corner)
3 dc, ch2 in the next 8 ch2 sps, Turn, ch 5 (counts as dc, ch2)
R: 20 - R: 18 - 3dc in the ch5 sp, ch2,
3 dc, ch2 in the next 8 ch2 sps,
3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2 in the next ch2 sp ( which is the corner)
3 dc, ch2 in the next 8 ch2 sps,
ch2, 1 dc in the last dc, tie off weave in your ends.
R: 21 - R: 24 - With White yarn Repeat R: 17 - R : 21
R: 25 - R: 28 - With Navy Blue yarn Repeat R: 17 - R : 21
R: 29 - Attach the gold yarn to the bottom corner of the Runner,
sc in each dc, 2 sc in each ch2 sp,
3 sc in each of the corner's ch 2 sps,
Working around the edges of the Runner.
Join to the 1st sc with a slst, tie off weave in your ends.
