Frisbee Dog Toy Crochet Pattern

Frisbee Flyers Dog Toy Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs
These are so fun - and they really fly!!

I was throwing them across the room,
for some indoor exercise with the pooches.
The pooches are so proud of themselves,
for bringing them back to me.
There are 2 sizes in the Pattern
 a 5 inch and a 6 inch.
 My Pooches love Them both.
Dogs love them, but the kids love them too.

They are fun to soak with water and throw at each other,
 When it's hot outside.

Skill - Easy peasy

What you Need:
Yarn: Med (4) Acrylic or Cotton (about an oz of 2 colors)
Crochet hook - H / 5.00
Yarn Needle - for sewing in ends.
Stitch Marker

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Single Crochet Together (sctog)

Sizes: 6 and 5 inches

Notes:
Pattern is worked in rounds. Stitch tightly for best results.
Pattern is worked using 2 strands of yarn together. St counts are in ( ).

You may find it curing up some around R: 4, But don't worry it will flatten out.

Ok, Lets get started:

R: 1 - Ch 10, join in a circle with a sl st, work 20 sc in the circle,
DO NOT JOIN (20 sc)

R: 2 - 1 sc in the 1st st, 2 sc in the next st, Repeat around (30)

R: 3 - 1 sc in the next 3 sc, 2 sc in the next sc, Repeat around,
1 sc in the last 2 sc,  (37)

R: 4 - 1 sc in the next 5 sc, 2 sc in the next sc,  Repeat around,
1 sc in the last 3 sc (43)

R: 5 - 1 sc in the next 7 sc, 2 sc in the next sc, Repeat around
1sc in the last 3 sc, (48)

R: 6 - 1 sc in each sc, (48) (43 for 5 inch)

We will start decreasing here:
Both sizes are finished the same.

R: 7 - 1 sc in the next 7 sc, st the next 2 sctog, Repeat around,
1 sc in the last 2 sc (43)

R: 8 - 1 sc in the next 5 sc, st the next 2sctog, Repeat around
1 sc in the last sc,(38)

R: 9 - 1 sc in the next sc, st the next 2 sctog, Repeat around
1 sc in the last sc

R: 10 - 1 sl in each sc around, tie off and weave in ends.

Better then a ball, Because you don't knock over lamps
when playing in the house.
Plus my little pooches have a hard time getting
their small mouth around a ball.

These are perfect. They love them so much, they took
them to their favorite sunny spot.

I made 4 of these. I'm trying to eliminate toys with stuffing but are still "softy"
toys. They are great. I made a seven inch one. My dogs love them. I wanted to post a picture of them but I'm unable too. Thanks for the pattern!
