A Simple Crochet Cross Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

A Simple Crochet Cross Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of
I made a bunch of these many years ago and gave them to
my friends and family. I never wrote out the pattern,
I just knew how to make them. A dear Friend asked me
if I still had the pattern and could I show her how to make
them or make a video. She wanted to make them for her Sunday school class for Easter.
Because I love her so much, I did just that.
I also wrote the pattern for those who prefer a written pattern.

of the Roseanne Show.

When I was first learning to crochet, at about 15 years old,
I was taught how to make this Style of Granny Square
 from a Friend's mom.
She had a big box of left over yarn, and she taught me and my friend how to make them. I Loved it, my friend did not.

Live With Sara - A Crochet Together - Let's Crochet A Scrubby | Posh Pooch Designs

Live Video Chat With Sara Sach
A Crochet Together - Let's Crochet A Scrubby
On Today's Live Video Chat
we are Crocheting a Scrubby together.

See The Video on my Youtube Crochet
Channel At this LINK
This was so fun and I have plans to do more "Live Crochet Together" projects!

There are 3 Ways you can make your Scrubby
1. Two Strands of the Cotton Yarn
2. One Strand each of the Cotton and
 Scrubby yarn
3. Two Strands of the Scrubby Yarn
You can choose which type of Scrubby
you would like to make.

Let's Talk about Scrubby Yarns.

Red Heart Yarn has 3 different Scrubby Yarns:
 Scrubby Yarn (4) - 3.5 oz./ 92 yards (polyester)
Cotton Scrubby (4)  - 3.5 oz./ 145 yards (cotton)
 Scrubby Sparkle (4) - 3 oz. / 174 yards (polyester)
and
TheNew Scrubby Smoothie (4) - 3 oz./ 131 Yards (cotton

All these are great for cleaning up dishes, sinks and bathtubs.

Red Heart Yarn has a new yarn Called Scrubby Smoothie.
This is a Cotton yarn that is a companion to the Scrubby yarns.

A Few Tips on Crocheting With Scrubby Yarns:
1. Scrubby yarns do not stretch, so try to loosen your tension
or go up a hook size, if you are normally a tight crocheter.

2. Again, loosen up some or it may rub and hurt your fingers.

3. Don't get frustrated, take it slow and get used to how it works and feels.

4. Use your finger tips to find the stitches, look at the top of the stitches, rather then the fronts of the stitches.

OK, Let's Get Started
You do not have to use Red heart Brand for our
Crochet Together. You can use any brand you would like.
Bernat, Hobby Lobby and Lion brand also make some

scrubby yarns, as well as, other brands.
