Try a different blend or fiber -
just stay in the same weight.

2.Change the colors - Try mixing the colors  up, changing more or less often. Or Try a  Variegated or Ombre.

3.Change the
 hooks -
Chang hooks sizes
 and see what happens.

4. Change the length and width
Add or Subtract stitches where needed.
Remember to measure as you go.

5. Change Both
 the Yarn
and Hook - Go  Smaller
or Bigger.

The Main Thing is to have fun.

it's too hot for making blankets?"

I say crank up the AC and make some Blankets!
Actually, I like to crochet items made from
Cotton Yarn in The Summer.

I have put together a Crochet Pattern Round Up

These are all Free Crochet Pattern with Videos

Pinwheel Washcloth Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

Pinwheel Washcloth Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of  Posh Pooch Designs

The Washcloth was designed using Yarspiration Caron Cotton cakes which is a Medium(4) and
 60% cotton, 40 % Acrylic

The Pinwheel Washcloth Pattern can also be used
as a doily. These Doilies were designed using Mandala Sparkle which is a Light (3) and is Acrylic with
a metallic thread running through it.
Roll it up into a Rose to give as a gift.

Although they are listed as different weight yarns,
they feel about the same to me when crocheted,
and  measured the same as well.
10 X 10 Inches
