Hexagon Blanket
Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs
The Hexagon Blanket Crochet Pattern may seem
like a complicated blanket pattern, but it is a really fun
and easy blanket to stitch up. Once you stitch up a few
pieces you will love it.
I decided it would be so fun for
Our Friday Fun Day Project!
You will need to make both Hexagons pieces
and 1/2 hexagon pieces for the blanket.
The written patterns for both, are here on the blog.
They make beautiful blankets, but the Hexagon
shape can also be used for making pillows,
bags, table runners, pot holders,
washcloths, lap blanket, washcloths and just
about anything you can think of.
I think it's a really wonderful shape to create with.
Make sure you check out the Video Tutorial.
I show you how to stitch up both the
Hexagon and half hexagon, as well as,
how to stitch them together to form a blanket.
My blanket that I designed is 30 X 30 inches
and you can make your blanket any size you
would like. Although I used The Premier Sweet Roll
yarn for my blanket, you can use any
medium (4) weight yarn you would like.
I think this crochet pattern would make a
great Scrap Happy pattern.
