Bow Lap Pillow Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach

 Bow Lap Pillow Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach Of Posh Pooch Designs

The Lap Bow Pillow seems like an odd name
for a pillow. It is named this because I was asked
how to ease shoulder pain while crocheting,
knitting, crafting, reading, or any thing we do
while sitting.

I too have shoulder pain when I sit to long
crocheting. I grab a couch pillow, put
it on my lap to bring my project closer.
It helps with slouching, posture and yes,
shoulder pain. I am not a doctor, but I was
told to do this by the Chiroprators office
that I go to for my back issues.

I decided I wanted a "Lap Pillow" just
for this purpose, and I wanted it to be cute.
So I designed it in the shape of the couch
pillow I was using, only a little bigger. I added
a band to make it look like a bow.
And I think it is perfect. The Band pulls it in
the center for a great fit when I sit to
crochet, read or work a puzzle.

It measures about 14 X 24 inches, made of super
soft super bulky (6) weight Bernat
blanket yarn in shades of white and yellow.

It's super cute and it is comfy and useful.
I really love it.

It's an easy, and quick to stitch up crochet
pattern, and it is so pretty. I just know you
 will want to make one.
Ans it also makes a great scrap happy
pattern, when you use up those left over Bulky yarns.
