It is a super bulky (6) weight yarn. It is so soft
and squishy, but very sturdy. It will hold up to
lots of  play time by kids, and Adults, too.

FRIDAY FUN DAY! Simple Pumpkin Hot Pad / Pot Holder Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach

 FRIDAY FUN DAY!
Simple Pumpkin Hot Pad / Pot Holder
 Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

IT'S FRIDAY FUN DAY!
*********************************
I have had many requests for a simple Crochet
Pumpkin shaped pot holder / hot pad, so here it is.
I hope you like it. I had a lot of fun designing it.

It's an easy design of a basic pumpkin with a
stem, leaf and vine curl. You can make 1 or 2
thicknesses, depending on what you will use it for.
If using it for an actual hot pad placing hot dishes on
it or grabbing hot dished from the oven, I suggest
making it double thick. If it a decoration
 1 thickness if fine.

I designed it using Medium (4) weight orange and
sage green Red Heart Super saver acrylic yarn,
as mine for for decorations,
but again, If using it for an actual hot pad placing
hot dishes on it or grabbing hot dished from the oven,
I suggest using a cotton or cotton blend yarn.

BJ The Scrappy Cat Pillow Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach

 BJ The Scrappy Cat Pillow
 Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱
*******************************
I had this cat in mind for a while, and thought
September was a great time to make it for our
Scrap Happy Crochet Pattern.

I chose all "Halloween" colors, and some white yarn
from my yarn stash and rolled them up into crazy
yarn balls holding 2 strands of medium (4) weight
yarn together. I love them and think the yarn balls
are even pretty and perfect for a Halloween project.

I named him BJ Short For "Beetle Juice" and
of course he is a scrappy cat. It measure about
12 inches tall, 24 inches around,
the perfect size for playing with or displaying
as a Cute Halloween display.

The cat was so much fun to stitch up. I made it in
2 evenings. I could hardly wait to finish it up and
share it with you all. I just know you will enjoy
making your own BJ, Just as much as I did.
