Scrap Happy Lace Wrap Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach

 Scrap Happy Lace Wrap
Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

Today's Crochet Pattern is fun Scrap Happy Pattern.
I used a lot of my light (3) DK weight cotton yarns to
 design a fun lacy wrap.
It stitches up pretty quick and is so pretty.
A perfect wrap for spring and summer.

Wear it with a breakfast outfit, evening dress, sundress,
tank top or at the beach. It's so versatile, it can go from
morning to evening wear perfectly. A great addition to
 everyday or vacation clothes.

The Yarns I used are all cotton, some have sparkle or
metallic threads, most are just assorted cotton yarns
from left over projects. I choose colors I thought
had a spring or summer feel, and I really
love out this wrap turned out. It would also be
 lovely in a solid color.

Wear it around your neck, across your shoulders
or just draped across you. However way you choose to
wear it is a beautiful accent to whatever you wear.

The Mitered Heart Granny Square is our "Scrap Happy"
project to February. I designed it using all yarns from
my left over medium (4) weight Acrylic yarn. I chose
colors I thought looked like Spring.

This Square can also be stitched up in cotton
medium (4) yarn and used as a washcloth or dishcloth.
It measures 10 X 10 inches so it's the perfect size.
and made in any color yarn. Solids, Ombre, variegated.

Make a blanket, a scarf, A bag, shawl, table runner,
tablecloth or whatever you choose to make will be lovely.
And remember hearts are not just for Valentines day.

So many fun ideas you will want to make
 a bunch of them.

From Rosie And Me To You
"Thank You And Merry Christmas!"

I decided I wanted to stitch up a new Christmas Blanket
for Rosie, my Chihuahua this year. I like to lay a blanket
on the couch to keeps her hair off the couch, and
a nice place to sit. I wanted it to be a Christmas
crochet pattern that any one could make
 for any time of year.

Looking though my Christmas and Holiday yarn stash,
I found 2 yarns I think compliment each other nicely.
The Herrsherners Worsted, Very Merry and
Premier Yarn Basix, Merry Multi. Both are
Medium (4) Weight acrylic yarns.
One is a long striping yarn and the other a variegated.

I really love how they worked up together.
I changed colors every 2 rows, and used the long striping
yarn for the trim. I only chose that because I had
more of that particular yarn. This just goes to show
you that colors and styles you think do not go together,
can end up looking so pretty together.

I think Rosie loves it !

It measures about 28 X 32 inches with the trim.
I did add the multiples so you can adjust it as needed.
Although, I designed it for my Rosie, it does not mean
it is only for dogs. This blanket can be made for anyone,
 pet or human.
