Skill: Easy
Materials:
Crochet Hook- H
Yarn-Worsted Weight (4) 3 to 4 oz.( C1 - main color, C2- Stripes)
Tape Measure
yarn Needle
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Skip (sk)
Size: Fit small Dogs, But easily adjusted for larger dogs.
Use the tape measure and measure your dog's neck -
The pattern is written for a 9-10 inch dog neck.
Pattern Notes:
Ch 3 counts as a dc
Ch3 after the color change, when changing colors.
Do not cut yarn, carry yarn on the sides, for the striped sections.
R: 1 - With C1, ch 12, 1 dc in 4th ch from the hook,
(1 st 3 chs count as a dc) 1 dc in each ch, , ch3, turn (9dc)
R: 2 - 1 dc in each st, turn (9dc)
R: 3 - Join in C 2, ch3, 1 dc in each dc, ch3, turn (9dc)
R: 4 - 9 dc, turn (9dc)
R: 5 - Join C1, ch3, 1 dc in each dc, ch3, turn (9dc)
R: 6 - 9 dcs, turn ( 9dc)
R: 7 - Repeat R: 3
R: 8 - Repeat R: 4, tie off C2
R: 9 - Repeat R: 5
R: 10 - Repeat R: 6
R: 10 - 1 dc in the first 3 sts, ch 3, skip 3 sts,
1 dc in the last 3 sts, ch3, turn
R : 11 - 30 - 1 dc in each dc, ch3 , turn
This is the row were you will want to lengthen or
shorten according to your dogs neck measurement.
R: 31 - 40 - Repeat R: 1 - R: 10, do not tie off.
Single Crochet Edge: With color 1, sc evenly around all four sides of the scarf.
place 2 sc in each of the 4 corners.
Weave in all strands of yarn.
Fringe: Cut 22, Six inch strands of both colors of yarn.
( 11 for each end) Attach to bottom edges of scarf with two strands each

Row 10: I think you mean "your dog's neck measurement" not "your dig's neck measurement".
