Christmas Dog Collar - Fun Fast Free Pattern

Works great for cats, goats , bunnies
or pets of any size.

Collar measures 12 inches buttoned.

Skill: Super easy and fast

Materials:
Hook-H
Yarn -Small amount of Red heart Super saver in red and green
5 jingle bells .5 inch

Stitches: 
Chain ( ch)
Single crochet ( sc)
Double Crochet (dc)

Triangles : Make 4 ( 2 red and 2 green)
each triangle measures approximately 2 inches

R: 1 - Ch 2, 3dc in the 2nd ch from the hook, ch1, turn,
( 3 dc, ch1 does not count as a st)
R : 2 - 2 dc in the 1st sc, 1 dc in the next dc, 2 dc in the next dc, ch 1 turn
( 5 dc, ch1 does not count as a st)
R : 3 - 2 dc in the 1st sc, 1 dc in the next 3 dc, 2 dc in the next dc, ch 1 turn
( 7 dc, ch1 does not count as a st)  Tie off, weave in ends.

Collar: 

R : 4 - Ch 8, then attach to 1st triangle with sc, 1 sc in the top of each dc, then ch1, Repeat for the next 3 triangles, then ch 10, turn ( 21 chs, 28 sc)

R : 5 - sc in the 4th ch from the end, to form button hole, then 1 sc in each sc across, ch 1 turn,
(45 sc, ch1 does not count as a st)

R : 6 - 1 sc in each sc across, till you reach the button hole, then 5 sc in the button hole,
 tie off and weave in your end. ( 50 sc, 2 sl st)

Sew a bell on the opposite end of collar for a button, then sew 1 bell on the tip of each point.


For bigger dogs you can either make
 the ends of the collar longer, 
or you can add more triangles.
