Lesson 9
To Day's Lesson we will learn How to Crochet in
Continuous Rounds, Increase and Decrease Stitches.

We talked about single crochet in the round in Lesson 3,
And That there are 2 ways to do this.
 1. You can Join and Ch1 like we did when we
crocheted a coaster.

or
2. You can do What's Called "Continuous Rounds"
No Joining or chain 1
Which we will do today
It's a technique used in making amigurumi,
which is 2 Japanese words, "Ami" Which means crochet or knitted, And "nuigurumi" Which means stuffed doll.
I like to call them stuffies or softee because it's easier to pronounce.

Spring Morning Headband Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

Spring Morning Headband Crochet
Pattern By Sara Sach of
I have been working on this Crochet Pattern for a
few months and we finally got it  finished. I really
love the versatility of this headband pattern.
It's a wide headband, that's wide enough to be used
as a ear warmer, also.
This Pattern is designed with Worsted Weight (4) Yarn.
Cotton Yarn can also be used for this headband,
for cool summer Headband.

If you make it in Bright colors it's a Spring headband
with a Flower worked into it.

If you make it in greens it looks like a Headband with
a Clover Worked in.

This Weeks Questions
What can I Crochet in Summer?
Anything!

Cotton Yarns
Let me tell you a secret, But you can't tell anyone.
(shhhh😉)
Any Pattern that calls for Acrylic yarn (WW 4) can be
crocheted with cotton of similar weight.
Just remember Cotton does not stretch, but the item
will have stretch after you crochet with it.
Hats, headbands, cowls, washcloths, towels, coasters  and more.

The only thing I do not recommend making out of cotton
yarn is blankets, unless its a very soft cotton.
It has been my experience that cotton yarn is just too heavy.
