I went shopping at My local Michael's Craft Store 

Saturday Morning With My husband.

He loves to Yarn shop with me, and is great at picking colors.

I Picked Up Some of Jonah Larson's Yarn kits.

 This is Jonah of Jonah's hands.

He is a wonderful young man, well spoken and 

loves yarn and yarn crafts. 

The kits were on clearance for a great price of $3.99 Each.

They are a perfect sets or gifts for children and Beginners.

Each set has all you need to complete a crochet project.

The Crochet Hooks are Boye hooks and the yarn is

 nice quality. And it also includes the crochet pattern to go

 along with the project. 

I am very impressed with Jonah Larson because he has

 made it completely normal for a young man to love to 

crochet and do yarn crafts.

 

Crochet is NOT Just for Grandmas!

It's For everyone!

While At Michael's I also saw an endcap of

 O'Go Blanket yarn. 

It was 10.5 oz. for $11.99. A Little Steep for me, 

When the regular Blanket Yarn of 10.5 oz. is $8.99.

Thought I would share what I found.

 They did not have any of the other O'Go yarns.

I might be tempted to get some,

 if they had Christmas colors.

10 Crochet Tips To Help You Be A 

More Confident Crocheter

1. Get a Tape Measure And use it.

(Measure as you go)

2. Get Some Stitch Markers and

use them for marking and counting stitches.

It will save you time and frustration.

3. Read Through the pattern or watch the Video, 

Before starting the project.

4. Understand that Patterns can be written

 in US or UK Terms. Know the difference.

5. Know if you are a tight or loose crocheter.

And Adjust Your Hook size accordingly.

And Again measure as you go.

6. Take Your time, do not rush. 

It will effect your gauge and tension.

Part of Art is process of creating the art work. 

Enjoy the process.

7. If you become frustrated with a pattern.

Set it aside, and come back to it later.

Don't over think it. And Ask for help.

8. Count Your Stitches! Even if you know 

the pattern well, count every few rows. 

It is easy to get distracted and lose count.

9. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Ask the designer of the Pattern for help.

Also, Google is your friend.

10. Practice, Practice Practice.

Practice builds Confidence.

We are not looking for perfection, 

although we want it right, but the more you practice

 the more confidence you will have for harder

 and more intricate patterns.
