Bobble Christmas Tree Garland Crochet Pattern

Skill: Easy

Materials:

Crochet Hook – I / 5.5 mm
Yarn – Worsted Weight (4) 2 oz. of each color
             Red – C1, Green - C2
             Red Heart Shimmer yarn but any Worsted weight yarn will work.
             The I Love This Yarn Sparkle is a good yarn for this also.
Measuring Tape
 
Stitches and Terms:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Double Crochet (dc)
 
Size : The Length is up to you and the size of your tree.
 
Gauge : 15 ch = 4 inches,  the distance between the Bobbles
 
Pattern:
With C1,
Ch 18,

*1 dc in the 4th ch from the hook.
Slst in the same st as dc*

To Make it look like popcorn repeat  * to * 2 more times

Ch 18
 
Repeat  as many times as needed for length.

How do you stay orgainzed?
How do you organize your yarn,
 patterns and videos?

I have a few tips to help you.
Get a Cheap organizer Calendar From the Store 
and use 3 color pens. 
(black, blue, and red are the colors I use)

I plan new designs, up dates of old designs, 
What yarns are needed, or sent, new patterns
 to be written, patterns to test or retest, 
photos to take and edit, Videos to film and edit, 
and when I want it all ready to post.

So, I Must be organized.

I plan everything out 2 or 3 months in advance, 
you don't have to go that far out. 
I write it down with my Black pen. 
When I make changes I write it 
out in Blue, and cross out the black. 
Then a month before, I update everything in red... 
Red is the final decision.

I do not use a pencil because I would erase a hundred
 times and ruin the calendar.

Crochet Tension is something that  must be

 practiced and learned.

Many Things Effect Crochet Tension

1. How We hold Our Hook

There is not a Right or Wrong way to hold your hook,
 but how you hold it an effect your tension.

2. How we hold the yarn - 
Run the yarn through your fingers gently.
 Holding to tight or too loosely can effect the tension.

3. Stress - Are you Angry, or in a fight or 
have your feeling hurt.

4. Surroundings - Are you watching people yelling or kids playing at the park. Maybe a scary movie.

The Bottom line is to practice
 and relax.

Let's Talk Chains
The loop facing you is the
Back Loop

The loop Facing away from you is the 
Front Loop

The loop on the bottom of the Chain is the 
Bottom Bump or Bottom Loop

So, which loop do we begin stitching in?

Stitch in the loop the pattern tells you.
If the Pattern does not say, 
I usually begin stitching in the Back Loop.
