The Christmas Pickle Ornament Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of
Do you Know the History of the
"Tradition of the Christmas Pickle"?
I was quite interest after living in Germany for a few years,
and could not find anyone who had heard of it.
and could not find anyone who had heard of it.
So decided to do some searching on my own.
Here is how the tradition works
After the kids are tucked in bed,
hide a pickle ornament, not a real pickle,
on the Christmas tree. The First one to find
it in the morning get s a special surprise.
It's fun because it is silly and the pickle is green
like the tree, so it's hard to find.
I think the winner should get a big jar of gerkins.
