2.It depends on the project Acrylic yarn does not not hold it's shape when it gets wet, like Cotton does. Also, cotton holds up better when Washed often.
3. Cotton is cooler then Acrylic - Cotton is better for some Summer items, like hats and headbands. It is Cooler and absorbs the sweat.
