Velvet Cable Cowl Crochet Pattern

This Cable Cowl was Designed using Bernat Velvet Yarn. 
It is luxurious and Soft.
 The color is Taupe Coffee. 
It's a rich creamy beige with lavender undertones.
The velvet yarn is a smooth silky texture and 
this Cowl is very comfortable to wear.

Skill: Easy – really!

Materials:
Crochet Hook – K / 6.50 MM
Materials: Chunky (5) Velvet Yarn By Bernat / Taupe Coffee 5. 5 oz.
Yarn needle
1 Button – 2 inch

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Double crochet (dc)

Size: 12 X 24 inches
1 row = 1 inch
2 dc = 1 inch

Notes:
Ch3 at beginning of rows counts as a Double crochet

Pattern:
Demo pics are done using Bernat Chunky (5) Acrylic/ Light Blue

R: 1 - Ch 26, 1 dc in the 4th ch from the hook, 1 dc in each ch across, turn. (24 dc)

R: 2 – Ch 3, 1 dc in the next 11 dc, ch 10, slst on the top of the last dc,
1 dc in the last 12 dc, Turn (24 dc, ch 10)

R: 3 – Ch 3, 1 dc in the next 11 dc, ch 10, slst on the top of the last dc,
1 dc in the last 12 dc, Turn (24 dc, ch 10)

R: 4 – Repeat R: 3

R: 5 - R: 23 – Repeat R: 3

Make sure to push all the ch 10 loops to the front of the Cowl.

R: 24 – Ch 3, 1 dc in each dc across, turn (24 dc)

Loop the Ch 10 loops through each other, working from back to front,
 forming the Chain Cable.

Place the button in the center of the cowl on R: 25.
Sew the button in place,


R: 25 – Place the ends of the cowl together, wrong side out,  slst the ends together
forming a circle or tube. then flip right side out.

 flip right side out,


then loop the last loop over the button.
