Today we are stitching up something that is very
sentimental to me.
Ernestine, My Mother In Law, was very crafty and
showed me how to make these Hanger covers over
40 years ago.
I have some of her patterns written in her handwriting,
but couldn't find this one. Well, That is, until we moved
and I found some more of her crafty things that were given
to me after she passed.
These 2 hangers she made for me as wedding gifts.
The Blue one for something blue, and the white and
peach one carried my wedding dress to the church.
My colors for my wedding were white and peach.
You can see They are quite worn, as my wedding dress was
still hanging on this hanger.
I wanted to share with you what she showed and taught
me, because these hanger covers are very useful.
They keep your dresses and blouses from falling
off the hanger. And you can hang scarves, ties, belts
of even wraps through the slots of the hangers.
An they are also very pretty and make wonderful gifts.

Make sure one tail of yarn is at the top, and one at the bottom.
With a
Needle thread the tail on and sew together.
