 an Elf Suit, too
Now That is so Festive And Fun!


The Mug Rug measures about 4 X 5.5 inches.
 It's perfect size for big mug of Christmas cocoa
 or eggnog. YUM! 


You will really enjoy stitching up this mug rug. 
It's quick and easy, and a little bit jolly.

or make a bunch of each and use them for Holiday

Skill: Easy
 
Materials:
Crochet Hook – H/ 5MM.
Yarn – Med. (4) Cotton, I used assorted Cotton From My Yarn Scraps
                                          C1 – Red – 1oz.
                                          C2 – Black – small amount
                                          C3 – White – Small Amount
                                          C4- Gold – Small Amount
Yarn Needle
Scissors
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Change to (chgto)
 
Size: 4 X 5.5 Inches
 
Notes:
Ch1 does not count as a st
 
Pattern:
 
R: 1 – With C1, Ch 19, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook,
Sc in each ch across, turn, ch 1 (18 sc)


R: 2 – Sc in each sc across, turn, ch 1 (18 sc)


R: 3 – R: 6 – Repeat R: 2


R: 7 - Chgto C2, leave C1, attached,
Sc in each sc across, turn, ch 1 (18 sc)
 
R: 8 - Sc in each sc across, turn, ch 1 (18 sc)


R: 9 – Chgto C1, tie off C2,
Sc in each sc across, turn, ch 1 (18 sc)
 
R: 10 - Sc in each sc across, turn, ch 1 (18 sc)
 
R: 12 – R: 14 – Repeat R: 10


R: 15 – Chgto C3, tie off C1,
Sc in each sc across,
Turn Sc evenly, working down the
side of the mug rug,
sc, ch1, sc in each of the 4 corners
Sc across the bottom of the mug rug,
And up the other side, join to the 1 st sc,
 tie off weave in the ends.


Buckle:
With C4, Thread about 12 inches of gold yarn
 on to the needle.
Embroider buckle on. I used a simple Lazy Daisy st.


Fringe:
Cut 12 pieces of C3 about 8 inches long.
Hold 3 yarn strands together and 
attached to each corner.
Trim them evenly.
