Patriotic Soap Bag Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach Crochet

 Patriotic Soap Bag
Crochet Pattern
 By Sara Sach Crochet

I have received quite a few crochet pattern requests
for soap sacks and bags for giving to veterans.
I decided to design one that has a Patriotic style to it.
I also wanted to keep it clean and simple so it
 could be stitched up quickly.

I designed it using Crafters Secret from Hobby Lobby
100% Cotton yarn. The Color is called
peppermint Twist, which sounds Christmasy
but I when I first saw it I thought of
red and white stripes. I paired it with a
royal blue and I love the the results.
It definitely says American Flag to me.

If You do not have this yarn you can alternate
red and white yarn and it would still look nice.
And Remember, you do not have to make this
Soap bag in Patriotic colors. You can use colors
you like, and any colors you have on hand.
It is a wonderful way to use up leftover cotton
 yarn and make something useful.
