This Wrap Shawl is Stitched up with cotton yarn 

called Caron Cotton Ripple Cake Yarn by Yarnspirations.

 the Colorway is Mauve Glow. the yarn as little ripple

 that give it a little texture.

I designed this wrap shawl as a change of season wrap shawl. 

What that refers to is when the weather goes from hot to cold,

 or from cold to hot. From Winter To Spring, And From 

Summer To Fall. When there is a just a chill to air.

It's a little thinner that an average rectangle shawl as not to be

 too bulky.

It can be work for any occasion, to any place where just a 

little bit of cover is needed. With a sundress, jeans and T

shirt or a fancy dress to across your shoulders.

People ask me all The time, "Does anyone wear shawls?"

Yes, They do. I do.

It's a little comfortable hug.

and When you make one for someone else, you

 are giving them a little comfort hug.

Yarn - Light (3) Cotton / Caron Cotton Ripple/Mauve Glow - 6 oz. / 380 yds.

Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Skip (sk)
Space (sp)
 
Size: 14 X 44 Inches
3 chs = 1 inch
2 rows = 1 inch
Multiples: 6 + 5 chs
 
Notes:
Ch3 = 1 dc
 
Pattern:

R: 1 – Ch 47, dc in the 4^th ch from the hook,
1 dc in each ch across, turn, ch 3 (45 dc)

R: 2 – Dc in the next 2 dc, *ch3, sk 3 dc, dc in the next 3 dc*
Repeat From * to * across, turn, ch 3 (24 dc, 7 ch 3)

R: 3 – Dc in the next 2 dc,
*ch1, sc around the ch3, ch1, Dc in the next 3 dc*
Repeat from * to * across, turn, ch 3 (24 dc, 7 sc)

R: 4 – Dc in the next 2 dc, *ch3, dc in the next 3 dc*
Repeat From * to * across, Turn, ch 3 (24 dc, 7 ch3)

R: 5 - Dc in the next 2 dc,
*ch1, sc around the ch3, ch1, Dc in the next 3 dc*

R: 86 – Working Down the side of the wrap,
Sc in the side of the 1^st row,
*2dc, ch2, 2dc in the side of the next row,
Sc in the side of the next row*

This Will be the bottom edge of the Shawl.

Repeat From * to * across, join with a sc to the corner,
 and tie off. Weave in the ends.

This Light and Fun Wrap is great for a breezy Summer 
Morning or Evening.

It is just what you need to wrap around your wet hair, 
after a swim. Wrap it around your waist

 or shoulders after a day at the lake, pool or beach.
Also a fun addition to your summer outfit.

I designed the Wrap using Caron Cotton Cakes by

Yarnspirations.

 The yarn is 60 % Cotton and 40% Acrylic yarn.
The cotton makes it cool, comfy and absorbent. 
The Acrylic gives the yarn a little stretch and softness.
A perfect combination for a Summer Wrap.

Materials:

Crochet Hook – H/ 5.00MM

Yarn – Caron Cotton Cakes (4) 7 oz.

Yarn Needle
Stitch Marker 

Stitches:

Chain (ch)

Double Crochet (dc)

Size:

44 inches long, 26 inches at the widest end.

Notes:

Ch3 Counts as a Double Crochet

You will only be increasing on one side of the wrap.

Use Stitch Marker to Mark Non Increase Rows, it helps me to remember.

R: 1 – Ch4, (1^st 3 chs count as a dc) 2 dc in the 4^th ch from the hook,

Turn, ch 3 (3 dc)

R: 2 – 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in the next 2 dc,

Turn, ch3 (4 dc)

R: 3 – 1 dc in the next dc, 1 dc in the next dc, 2 dc in the last dc,

Turn, ch3 (5 dc)

R: 4 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in the next 4 dc,

Turn, ch3 (6 dc)

R: 5 - 1 dc in the next dc, 1 dc in the next 3 dc, 2 dc in the last dc,

Turn, ch3 (7 dc)

R: 6 -1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in the each dc across,

Turn, ch3 (7 dc)

R: 7 -1 dc in the next dc, 1 dc in each dc across,  2 dc in the last dc,

Turn, ch3 (8 dc)

R: 8 - R: 80  - Continue to Repeat R: 6 and R: 7, Alternating Rows.
At R: 80 you will have  81 dc.
Tie off and Weave in your ends.

How To Make The Tassel - See Video Above

Add The Tassel to wrap as shown in pic below.
