The Celebration Beanie Hat Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

The Celebration Beanie Hat Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of  Posh Pooch Designs

The Celebration Beanie is an Easy, thick and quick beanie.
It stitches up in less than an hour.

It's comfy to wear and fun to give.
And It's the perfect last minute gift for men and women.

I used Wool Ease Thick and Quick By Lion brand,
For the white beanie.
It has a beautiful rainbow metallic thread running
through it.
I used Hometown USA Anchorage Ice for the other beanie.
Both are Bulky (6) yarns, and make stitching up this
beanie a snap.

Seed Stitch Headband Ear Warmer Free Knitting pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

Seed Stitch Headband Ear Warmer.
I knitted the Variegated One First. and really love it.
I added a little knitted bow with a fun button.
But when I began takings pictures,
you could not see the the texture of the stitches.

I had some of  the Wool Ease - Fisherman yarn left
and made another one, and used wooden buttons.

I love them both.
I think the yarn for the variegated headband is also wool Ease,
but can not find the yarn label.
I purchased some wool Ease a few months back,
 and bought several different colors.
I put them all in a plastic tub together.
I searched the tub and my yarn room,
but can not find the lost label.

Ok For the pattern.

Bon Bon The Owl UP sized!!

As some of you know, we had a fun Challenge using
I just love these little yarns.
they are so fun and
have lots of fun design possibilities.

Any way, Back to the Challenge.
The winner Was
Heidi Yates of Snappy Tots
With her design,
Bon Bon The Owl
You can find her pattern in her

I thought it would be fun to crochet one
up using a (4) worsted weight yarn.
As the Bon Bon yarns are 2 or 3 weight.
I used  a H hook, and a bright variegated yarn
I already had, for the bottom and the feathers,
I then used a teal for the top and the draw string.
The bag measures
9 inches long and 14 inches around.
Just the perfect size bag for a lunch bag,
small purse or just a fun treasure bag.

You could even slip some batting inside
and have a really fun pillow.
I made mine have silly eyes!
That is why this pattern is so perfect.
It is easy to make with such great results and
the technique for the feathers is unique.
So just because you don't have bon bon yarn,
doesn't mean you cannot make this fun pattern.
So Go For it!
