is June Ornament of the Month

The Star Ornament is A quick and easy 
crochet pattern. It is designed using my left
 over med (4) cotton yarn. You can make them with 
your left over acrylic yarn also,
 just make sure it is med (4) yarn. 

Make them For Any Patriotic Holiday,
For Christmas or any Holiday. Mix and match
 your colors and vartiations.You can also add beads 
to your hanger and fringe is you like.

Shooting Star June Ornament of The Month


Please, Add This Crochet Pattern to Your Ravelry Favorites

Skill: Easy
 
Materials: 
Crochet Hook - H / 5 mm.
Yarn - Med (4) Cotton - I Love This Cotton / Hobby Lobby
        C1 - Royal Blue -.5 oz.  C2 - Red - .5 oz.
        C3 - White - .5 oz.       C4 - Gold - .5 oz.
Yarn Needle
Small Amount of stuffing – small handful
Optional - Red White and Blue pony beads
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Skip (sk)
Space (sp)
Change to (chgto)
Picot Stitch (pcst) ch3, slst in the top of sc
 
Size: 4.5 inches across, not counting the fringe
 
Notes:
Ch1 does not count as a st
Ch3 counts as a dc
 
Pattern:
 
R: 1 - With C2, Ch 5, join in a circle,
ch3, dc, ch1, in the circle,
*2dc, ch1* Repeat from * to * 3 more times,
Join to the ch3 with slst, (5 sets of 2dc, ch1)


R: 2 – Chgto C3, tie off C1, slst in the ch1 sp
ch3, dc, ch2, 2 dc in the 1st ch1 sp,
Sc between the next 2 dc,
* 2 dc, ch2, 2 dc in the next ch1 sp,
Sc between the next 2 dc*
Repeat from * to * 3 more times,
Join to the ch3 with slst, (5 sets of 2dc, ch1, 2dc, sc)


R: 3 - Chgto C2, tie off C3, slst in the ch1 sp
ch3, dc, ch2, 2 dc in the 1st ch1 sp,
Ch1, sc in the next sc, ch1,
* 2 dc, ch2, 2 dc in the 1st ch1 sp,
Ch1, sc in the next sc, ch1*
Repeat from * to * 3 more times,
Join to the ch3 with slst,
(5 sets of 2dc, ch1, 2dc, ch1, sc, ch1)
Weave in the ends.


Repeat R: 1 – R: 3
Place them together, right sides facing out.


R: 4 – Chgto C4, Going through both stars,
slst in the ch1 sp,
*Sc, pcst, sc in the ch1 sp,
Sc in each st and ch 1 sp across*
Repeat from * to * 4 more times
 
Add a small amount of stuffing
Repeat from * to * 1 more time
Join to the 1st sc, tie off weave in the ends.


Tie And Fringe:
Cut 12 - 15 strand of each color, 10 inches long.
Or longer if you want them longer
 
With 2/ 3 strands held together loop
Through the top point to form the hanger.
Tie knot, add beads, knot again and Trim

 With 2/ 3 strands held together loop
Through the 2 bottom points of the of star

 a series of Country Style Crochet Patterns.
The Country Star Ornament Crochet Pattern
is the First On The list.


I hope you will enjoy stitching them us, 
as much as I enjoyed designing them.

Any med (4) yarn will work for this Crochet Pattern.

Country Star Ornament Crochet Pattern

Please Add This Crochet Pattern To Your Raverly Favorites
 
Skill: Easy
 
Materials:
Crochet Hook – H / 5.00 MM
Yarn- Cotton – Med (4) Sugar and Cream - Holiday Stripes 1 oz.
Yarn Needle
3/8 Inch Button
12 in piece of 3/8 inch ribbon
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Slip Stitch (slst)
 
Size: 5 Inches
 
Pattern:
 
R: 1 – Ch 5, join in a circle, ch3, 1 dc, ch 2,
*3 dc, ch 2* Repeat From * to* 3 More times,
 join to the ch3, slst to the ch2 sp, ch3.
(5 sets of 3 dc, ch2)
 


R: 3 –2dc, ch2, 3 dc in that same ch2 sp, ch1,
*3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1 in the next ch2 sp*
Repeat from * to * 3 more times,
 join to the ch3, slst to the ch2 sp, ch3.
(5 sets of 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1)
 


R: 3 – 2dc, ch1, 3dc in the same ch2 sp, ch1, sc in the next ch1 sp, ch1,
*3dc, ch1, 3dc, ch1, sc in the next ch1, ch 1*
*Repeat From * to * 3 more times, join and tie off.
(5 sets of 3dc, ch1, 3dc, ch1, sc, ch1)
 
Attach the ribbon through the ch1 sp at the top of the star.
 
Sew or glue on the button of choice.
