The Paw Print Christmas Ornament

 Crochet Pattern was designed about 8 years ago.

 We decided it was time to retest and up date the

 pattern with new pictures. We also,

filmed a brand new Video.

They are perfect For You Family and Friends

 With Dogs and Cats.

You will enjoy stitching up these Paw Print Ornaments.

 They make great coasters, gift tags, decorations

 and of course Christmas Tree Ornaments.

They can be made with any Medium(4) yarn you

 have on hand. I prefer the cotton as it holds 

the same well. Any colors you like can be used, as well.

Skill: Easy
 
Materials:
Crochet Hook – H / 5.50 MM
Yarn – Med (4) Cotton –Small Amount of any 2 colors (C1, C2)
Yarn Needle
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Half Double Crochet (hdc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Change to (Chgto)
 
Size: 4 X 4.5
 
Notes:
Ch1 Does not Count as a st
Ch3 Counts as a dc
 
Pattern:
 
R: 1- With C1, Ch 5, join in a circle, ch3,
11 dc in the circle, join, ch 3 (12 dc)
 

R: 2 – 2 dc in each dc, join, (24 dc)
 

R: 3 – Chgto C2, leave C1 attached,
ch1, *2 sc in the next dc, 1 sc in the next dc*
Repeat From * to * around, join, (36 sc)
 

R: 4 – Chgto C1, leave C2, attached,
*sc in the next sc, hdc in the next sc, 3 dc in the next sc, hdc in the next sc*
Repeat From * to * 3 more times, sc in the next st, tie off C1, weave in the end.
 

R: 5 – Pick up At C2, *sc in the next sc, sc in the next hdc,
Sc in the next dc, 2 sc in the next dc, sc in the next dc, sc in the next hdc, 

sc in the sc in the row below*
Repeat From * to * 3 more times, slst in the next sc, tie off, weave in your ends.
 
Hanger: Cut a piece of matching yarn 12 inches long, 

attach to center of the ornament and tie a knot.

Skill: Easy

Materials:

Hook - H

Yarn- Cotton Yarn, I used Peaches and Cream 

            Light Beige C1 and yellow C2, brown C3 for the Trim

Yarn Needle for weaving in your ends.

Stitches:

Chain (ch)

Single Crochet (sc)

Size : 5 X 5 inch

Notes:

We will begin stitching the graph from the bottom, at R : 1

Ch1 at ends of rows, does not count as a st, it is a turning chain.

Graph:

R : 1 - With C1, ch 16, 1sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 

1 sc in each ch across, ch1 turn

 ( 15 sc, the st count will remain the same throughout)

R : 2 - 1 sc in each sc, ch1, turn 

R : 3 - 5 C1, 2 C2, 1 C1, 2 C2, 5 C1, ch 1, turn

R : 4 - 4 C1, 7 C2, 4 C1, ch1, turn

R : 5 - 6 - Repeat R : 4

R : 7 - 2 C1, 1 C2, 2 C1,, 5 C2, 2 C1, 1 C2, 2 C1, Ch1, turn

R : 8 - 1 C1, 3 C2, 2 C1, 3 C2, 2 C1, 3 C2, 1 C1, Ch1, turn

R : 9 - 1 C1, 3 C2, 7 C1, 3 C2, 1 C1, Ch1, turn

R : 10 - 2 C1, 1 C2, 2 C1, 1 C2, 3 C1, 1 C1, 2 C2,  C1, 2 C1, Ch1, turn

R : 11 - 4 C1, 3 c2, 1 C1, 4 C2, 4 C1, Ch1 turn

R : 12 - Repeat R : 11

R: 13 - 5 C1, 1 C2, 3 C1, 1 C2, 5 C1, ch1 turn

R : 14-15 -- 15 C1, tie off weave in your ends. 

Trim - With C3, evenly sc around all 4 sides of the coaster,

 st 2 sc in each corner, join to 1st sc, tie off.

Do not forget to spray Block your coaster.
