Hubby And I went Antique Shopping at A town About 30
minutes away from us called Elizabeth, Colorado.
The Town of Elizabeth has a cute Main
Street lined with Antique, Vintage and
Custom Shops. One of them Was a Fiber Shop!
I had to Go inside!
It was a cute shop with a wonderful Friendly Lady.
You know, One of people you like instantly.
The Shop had all sorts of items made from Alpaca yarns.
Hats, socks, scarves and more.
She also had a nice selection of Alpaca yarns.
She owns and raises Alpacas, and makes her own yarn
from the fiber of the alpacas.
I learned that the Alpaca yarn is made from Fiber not fleece.
Fleece only comes from Sheep.
I just could not leave with out buying some of the Alpaca
yarn made here in Colorado. I picked 2 shades of Brown
that would work well together. I don't know what
I will stitch up yet.
