Pumpkin Washcloth, Doily And Hot Pad Crochet Pattern

This Pumpkin Pattern can be used as a 
Washcloth, Doily or Hot Pad.

Remember:
 If you going to use it as a Hot Pad/ Pot Holder
 use Cotton Yarn only.
If you are going to Use it as a Doily,
Any yarn is fine.

Light Variegated Orange - Premier Cotton Yarn
Bright orange - Peaches and Cream Cotton Yarn
Rust- Red heart Super Saver Yarn/ Acrylic

Pumpkin Washcloth, Doily and Pot Holder Crochet Pattern

Please Add This Crochet Pattern to Your Ravelry Favorites

Skill: Easy

Materials:
Crochet Hook – H/5.00 MM
Yarn- Cotton –peaches and cream – orange, small amount of green for stem and curl.
           Med (4) For Doily or decoration 2 oz.
Yarn Needle

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Skip (sk)
Space (sp)


Notes:
Ch3 Counts as dc
Rounds are joined with a slst to the ch3
Ch 4 Counts as a dc, ch1

R: 1 – Ch 5, join in a circle, ch3, 9 dc, join, ch 3
(10dc)

R: 2 – Dc in the same st as the ch3, 2 dc in each dc, join, ch4
(20dc)

R: 3 – *dc, ch1 in the next dc*
Repeat From * to * around, join, ch3
(20dc, 20 ch1 = 40 sts)

R: 4 – 1 dc in the same st as ch3,
*1 dc in the ch1 sp, 2 dc in the dc* Repeat From * to * around, join
(60 sts)

R: 5- Ch5 (counts as dc, ch2) *sk 1 st, dc in the next st, ch 2*
Repeat from * to * join, ch 3 (90 sts)
Do not worry is R: 5 is a little ripply, it will flatten out after the R: 6.

R: 6 – *2 dc in the next ch2 sp, 1 dc in the next dc*
Repeat from * to * around, join, ch1 (90 dc)

R: 7 – 1 sc in each dc around, join, 
Hanger is options: ch 8, join to the 1st ch, 
tie off weave in your ends. (90 sc)


Curl and Stem:
Ch 10, 3 hdc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 3 hdc in each ch across, 
(27 hdc) do not tie off,
Ch 5, 1 slst in the 2nd ch from the hook, and in the next 3 chs to form a stem, 
tie off and sew on.
Now it's all ready to use or give.

Just A Little Pumpkin - Pattern Review

I had so much fun making this little pumpkin.
I just chose Red heart Super Saver,
orange and green,
since I had some on hand.
and made this little pumpkin 
in about 1/2 an hour.

The pattern I used is
All her patterns are great, and I love her blog.

 I even added a little curly vine.
here is a pattern for the Curly Q

My pumpkin is about 5 inches.
And I think it looks perfect in my curio 
with the rest of my squash.
These little pumpkins work up so fast. 
You could make a 
whole bowl of the in an evening.
