How I Recycle A Sweater | Posh Pooch Designs

How I Recycle A Sweater
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

On Today's Friday Fun With Sara Video
I show you how I take a sweater I no longer
wear and make it into a fun set to keep you warm.
We made some Arm Warmers,
a Cowl and a Headband.
And trimmed them all with crochet.
This Was So Much fun!

Turn a Unused Sweater into...

A Cowl, Arm Warmers and a Headband

This is a fun way to reuse an old, or maybe a ruined sweater,
and make it useable and new again.
Any size sweater will work, and of course
any color or texture. I do not recommend a crochet sweater,
a store bought knit sweater seems to work the best.

 and pin in place.

We will be placing our crochet stitches in the

Fuzzy Lovey Blanket Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

 Fuzzy Lovey Blanket Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

This lovely Blanket is made to fit any premade stuffed
animal or toy. I designed this Blanket a few years ago
and the yarn I used is no longer available, so we decided
to update the pattern with lots of new pictures,
and a Brand New Video.

I love this blanket So much, because you can customize
it for any child's room or favorite animal. And it Stitches
up quickly since we use a Super Bulky (6) Yarn
and an N /9 MM Crochet Hook. The blanket is nice
 size for cuddling and snuggling.

The Yarn I chose to update this Crochet pattern is
from Mainstay, which is a Walmart Brand. It is a
Chenille yarn called  Chenille Heathered Yarn and
the colorway is called Multi Pastel. It is a 100% Polyester
and is machine washable.

By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

These Ghost Coasters are a cute and fun Halloween

Use as a place marker for each of your guests at
your Halloween party, and give one to each of your
guests to take home as a party favor to remember what
fun they had at your get together.

These Fun Ghost Coaster can be stitched up Happy or Scary!
You decide. Make several of each and let your guest decide
which they like better. Both styles are adorable.
I designed them out of I Love This Cotton White Sparkle.
It is a Med (4) Cotton Yarn with metallic thread running
through it. I love The Sparkle for these Ghosts.
I Used a H / 5.00 MM Crochet Hook For these.
You will love how easy and fast these ghosts
are to stitch up.

Warm Spice Neck Warmer / Cowl Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

Warm Spice Neck Warmer / Cowl
 Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

The Warm Spice Neck Warmer is a Cowl
designed using V stitches for a Fall weight neck warmer.
It's made for the guys and the girls of any ages.
I Love The Fall Colors, because it reminds me of all
the warm spices we use in autumn recipes.

The Yarn I designed this Cowl with is I Love
This Yarn From Hobby Lobby.
The Colors are Autumn Stripe and Burnt Pumpkin /Rust,
which are Medium (4) Acrylic yarns.
I used an I Hook / 5.500MM for  smooth and roomy fit.
It Measures 9 Inches tall, and 28 inches around.

And remember even though I designed this neck
warmer in Fall Colors, you can use any colors you like.
Maybe use the favorite colors of the person
you are making it for.
