I am very excited to share with you this weeks free collar pattern,
it reminds me of The Brady Bunch, for some reason.
I guess it's the colors. It kind of has a Art Deco feel to it.
It is called "Retro".
Please remember these collars are for fun and decorative
purposes only, and are not strong enough to attach your lead or leash to.
It is a little tricky with all the colors
but once you do one, you will love it.
and of course you can chose any colors you like!
Bright pinks and greens would be pretty, too.
Retro Dog Collar Crochet Pattern By Sara sach

Skill: Easy
Materials:
Crochet Hook H
Worsted Weight yarn-(4) ( I used vintage yarn) yellow, brown, teal, & orange
yarn Needle
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Half double Crochet (hdc)
Slip Stitch (ss)
Treble Stitch (tr)
All of the Color changes will be worked without cutting the yarn
till the end of the project, unless otherwise stated.
Less ends to work in on such a little project.
Pattern:
With Brown yarn, ch 39 for a 9 inch collar, ( 3 chs = 1 inch)
R - 1 : 1 hdc in each ch, ch 1 turn
R - 2 : Add in orange yarn, follow pattern * 4 orange sc,( add in teal yarn)
1 teal tr, repeat from * across collar, (leaving all three colors attached)
At the end of the row tie off the teal and orange and work in the ends.
R - 3 : (with brown) 1 hdc in each st across
R - 4 : Change to the yellow yarn,( tying off the brown yarn)
working completely around the whole collar sc in each st and
5 sc at each end. Tie off and weave in ends.
Ties - (One on each end) Attach yarn to the center sc
with a ss, ch 25, 1 dc in the last ch ss back down the ch to
the collar and join with a ss, tie off.
