Coffee Cup Pin Cushion Crochet Pattern by Sara Sach
Skill: Easy
Please, Add This Crochet pattern to Your
Materials:
Hook- H/ 5.00 MM
Yarn - Worsted Weight (4) or Cotton yarn - I used Peaches and Cream Cotton yarn
Small amount of fiber fill - about a handful
Yarn Needle
2 straight pins
Decorative Buttons
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Slip Stitch (sl st)
Back Loop Only (blo)
Size: 2 inches tall, 6 inches around
Notes:
Ch 3 Counts as dc
Ch1 Does not Count as a sc
Rounds are joined with a slst
The Pattern : Starting with the bottom of the cup:
join with a sl st to form a circle, ch 3 (10dc)
R: 2 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 2 dc in each dc, around join, ch1 (20dc)
R: 3 -BLO this row only)
1 sc in each dc around join, ch 1(20sc)
R: 4 - 1 sc in each sc around, join, ch 1 (20sc)
R: 5 - R: 7 - Repeat R: 4
R : 8 - Repeat R: 4, Forming the cup handle, then ch 7, join ch to the loop that lines up even on R : 3, sc back up the around the ch, and join to the top, tie off.
Coffee/ Top of Cup
Repeat R: 1 and R: 2 From the Coffee Cup.
Tie off weave in the ends.
Stuff the Coffee cup, Place the Coffee on top.
Join the yarn to the sc above the handle, sc around the top of the cup, sewing the coffee and cup together. tie off and weave in the ends.
Add a Decorative button or applique.

Gauge is super important and I had to learn this the hard way on a recent project. I made a headband that should have been women's size and it will only fit a 6 month old to 2 year old sized noggin. Totally not worth all the time and energy I spent making it for it to only fit that size head. :(
I have definitely learned this lesson.

Hello just wanted to say love you and your work just to let you know your written instruction says to crochet 9dc in 2nd chain from hook and your video says 4th chain thought I let you know happy crocheting
