Today's Question,
"How do I save my "frogged yarn"
so I can reuse it.
"Frogged" means when you rip out a crochet project.
Maybe you missed a stitch or got off count,
And you had to rip it out.
The yarn ends up all bumpy, and you want o get those bumps out.
What I do is Spray the yarn with just water.
Dampen it, do not soak it.
Then I roll it into a ball or cake, loosely but firmly.
I then place it in a bowl and set in on my dryer,
or a warm place so it can dry.
Remember when Working with Wool or Wool Blends,
if you get it too wet and agitate it too much it will felt.
if you get it too wet and agitate it too much it will felt.
After 24 hours or longer, sometimes it several days
before I get to it, I unroll it to make sure it is dry in the center,
and than re-roll it.
When drying, I do not recommend setting the the sun,
as it can bleach out the colors.
