Vintage Christmas Boots Free Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

Vintage Christmas Boots
Free Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of  Posh Pooch Designs

The First time I saw The Christmas Granny Square Boots
was in the Early 1970's when My Friend's Mom was
making them. She put crumpled news paper in the toe
of the boot. I think she used big pickle
or mayonnaise jars to hold cookies she had made.

A few years later I was given one from my
Sunday School Teacher.
She put tissue paper in the toe of the boot, and
a big paper cup in the leg of the boot.
She filled it with candy. The old Fashioned hard
kind that tasted like cloves and cinnamon.
I pulled out that boot the other day,
and decided to share it with you, with a modern twist.

I used Sparkle yarn From Hobby Lobby
/ I Love This Yarn Metallic and
I Found these jars at my Local Grocery Store,
And they are Perfect.
