Thanks for all you great tips and info on cotton yarns as a beginner I thought they were allthe same not paying attention to percentages. I took your fuzzy headband idea and made a dog collar. It was fun and easy.

HI: I JUST FOUND YOU ON FACEBOOK. I AM CROCHETING A LOT OF THINGS FOR ASSISTED LIVING PEOPLE AND NATURALLY MYSELF AND CHILDREN. I AM HOME BOUND AT AGE 77 AND COULD SURE USE SOME OF YOUR YARN. THE CAKES LOOK SO NEAT AND WOULD LIKE TO TRY SOME. ANYWAYS, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR DESIGNS. I WILL BE A REGULAR VIEWER GOD BLESS.

Thanks for the info about the cotton yarns. I made some small makeup removing pads and found them to be a little harsh on my skin when using the Sugar and Cream 100% cotton yarn. I'll try them again with a blended yarn and see if they work better. Thanks!
