 cute baby bib.

But the Little bear ears and face make 
this bib super adorable. 

It is perfect for a Boy , Girl or 
made in neutral colors.

Skill: Easy

Materials:
Crochet Hook – H / 5.00 MM
Yarn- med (4) 2 oz. Cotton or Acrylic –
           I used Red Heart Bunches of Hugs baby Yarn
          Small Amount of brown or Black for the bears face.
Yarn Needle

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Picot Stitch (pct)

Size: 8.5 X 8.5 inches

Notes:
Ch1 does not count as a st.
Ch3 Counts as a dc.
Rounds are joined to the ch3 with a slst.
When Changing colors, ch3 after the color change.
Demo changes color At R:3, R: 5, R: 9

Pattern: Bib
R: 1 – Ch5, join in a circle, ch3, 9 dc, join, ch 3 910 dc)

R: 2 – 1 dc in the same st as the ch 3,
2 dc in each dc around, join ch 3 (20dc)

R: 3 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch 3,
2 dc in each dc around, join ch 3 (40dc)

R: 4 – 1 dc in the next dc, *2 dc in the next dc, 1 dc in the next 2 dc*
Repeat From * to * around, leaving the last 8 dc unworked,
TURN, ch 3  (42 dc, 8 unworked dc)

R: 5 - 1 dc in the next 2 dc, *2 dc in the next dc, 1 dc in the next 3 dc*
Repeat From * to * around, leaving the last 8 dc unworked,
TURN, ch 3 (52 dc)

R: 6 -1 dc in the next 3 dc, *2 dc in the next dc, 1 dc in the next 4 dc*
Repeat From * to * around, leaving the last 8 dc unworked,
TURN,  (62 dc)

R: 7 – *Ch 3, sk the next dc, sc in the next dc*
Repeat From * to * Around, TURN, ch3

R: 8 – Sc in the 1st ch3 sp, sc, pct, sc in the same ch 3 sp,
*Sc, sc pct, sc in the next ch 3 sp*
Repeat From * to * Around,


R: 9 - Sc evenly down the 1st inside edge of the bib,
sc in the 8 sc across the center portion of the big,
Evenly sc up the inside edge of the other side of the bib, join to the 1st sc, ch1

When you reach the 1st corner ch 32, dc in the 3rd ch from the hook,
 slst in each ch working back down the ch, join to the same sc, (1st bib tie)

sc in each sc down the inside edge, center and other edge of the top of the bib.
When you reach the 2nd corner repeat What you did for the 1st bib tie.
Join, tie off weave in your ends.

Ears Make 2
Ch 4, 9 dc in the 4th ch from the hook, join to the ch3,
leave a 12 inch tail of yarn for sewing ear in place.

Bear Face:
Embroider face on using brown or black yarn and yarn needle.

Bow:
Cut 2 strands of yarn about 12 inches long,
attach to the bib and tie a bow securely.
