Fill them with goodies and treats, use them
for holiday drinks.
fill with cocoa mix, or fun little toys.
Add a Tea Light and use them for decorations.
Remember if you are going to give these to children, get the plastic jars. I found them at Joann's and Michael's Craft stores.

Crochet Hook – H/ 5.00 MM
Yarn- Worsted Weight (4) about 2 oz, total
Red or Green, small
amount of black and yellow
Yarn Needle
Jar – 16 oz. Canning Jar
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Triple Stitch (tr)
Triple Stitch (tr)
Change To (chgto)
Front Loops Only (FLO)
Back Loops Only (BLO)
Front Loops Only (FLO)

Size: fits
a 16 oz. Canning jar (5 inches tall)
Notes:
Rounds are joined with a Slip Stitch
Ch 3 after the color change
Ch 3 Counts as a Double crochet
When changing colors, ch3 after the color change.
Pattern:
R: 1 – With Red or Green, Ch5, join in a circle.
Ch3,
R: 2 –Dc in the same st as the ch3,
2 dc in each dc around, join, Ch1. (26dc)
R: 3 – 1 Sc in each dc around, join, ch 3. (26sc)
R: 4 – 1 dc in each dc around, join. (26dc)
R: 5 – Ch 3, 1 dc in each dc around, join. (26dc)
R: 6 – Ch 3, 1 dc in each dc around, join. (26dc)
R: 7 – Chgto Belt color yarn, leave Red or Green yarn
attached,
Ch 3, 1 dc in each dc around, join. (26dc)
R: 8 – Chgto back to main color yarn, cut and tie
off Black yarn.
Ch 3, 1 dc in each dc around, join. (26dc)
R: 9 – Ch 3, 1 dc in each dc around, join. (26dc)
R: 10 – 1 dc in each dc around, join. (26dc)
R: 11 - Chgto White yarn, working in the FLO,
ch1, 1 sc in the next 10 sts,
1 hdc in the next st, 1 dc in the next st, 1 tr, ch 3, slst in the next st,
slst, ch3, 1 tr in the next st, 1 dc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next st,
1 sc in the last 10 sts, join to 1st sc, ch1

R: 11 - Chgto White yarn, working in the FLO,
ch1, 1 sc in the next 10 sts,

1 sc in the last 10 sts, join to 1st sc, ch1

R: 12 - Working in the BLO of R: 10,

tie off weave in your ends. (26dc)
Buckle: With yellow yarn, Ch 13,
1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 sc in the next ch, 2 sl st in the next ch,
*1 slst in the next 2 chs, 2 sl st in the next ch*
Repeat From 8 to * 2 more times, join, tie off leaving a 12 inch tail of yarn.
with the beginning tail of yarn close up the ends to form the buckle.tie off.
With the long Tail of yarn sew in place on the front of the Cozie.
Add To French knots for buttons.

Repeat From 8 to * 2 more times, join, tie off leaving a 12 inch tail of yarn.
