What is the Linked Double Crochet (LDC)
And What is it used For?
The Linked Double Crochet is basically lining the side of the DC together at each stitch for a more sturdy and less holy project.

To Begin LDC: Make your chain
pull up a loop through the 2nd ch
pull up a loop through the 3rd ch
Yarn over, go through 1st 2 loops, 
yarn over go through the last 2 loops.

LDC:
Insert hook through the bar of the previous dc,
yarn over, pull loop through,
insert hook in next dc, yarn over, pull up a loop,
Yarn over, pull through 1st 2 loops, 
yarn over pull through last 2 loops.

Repeat On each dc across.

American Flag Bunting Crochet Pattern Mini Crochet Along | Posh Pooch Designs


 American Flag Bunting Crochet Pattern

This Fun Bunting is designed in the American Flag style
 and colors. It is just what you need for celebrating 
any of the Patriotic Holidays. It is designed to 
decorate for the 4th of July,  Flag Day, Veterans Day, 
And Memorial Day. Or Any other time you want Some Patriotic decorations.



Each pennant of the bunting measures about 5 inches,
 and each bunting has 6 pennants. 
3 of the Red And White, and 3 of Blue and White.
The Pennants are spaced about 5 inches apart.

We Will Be Working The Bunting
 In 3 Parts Or Steps.
Part 1 - Red And White Pennants
 - Make 3
Part 2 - Blue And White Pennants
 - Make 3
Part 3 -  Star And Finishing Up




American Flag Bunting Crochet Pattern Mini Crochet Along

Skill: Easy
 
Materials:
Crochet hook – K/ 6.50 MM
Yarn- Bulky (5) 2 oz. of each color – Charisma / Loops And Threads
           C1 – Red, C2 – White, C3- Royal Blue, C4- Yellow
Yarn Needle

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Skip (sk)
Change to (chgto)
 
Size: Each Triangle - 5 w. X 5 L. Inches
 
Notes:
Part 1- Red and White Stripe Triangles
Part 2 – Blue and White Triangles
Part 3 – Finishing up
 
Part 1 – Make 3 Red And White Stripe Triangles

Carry Your yarn across and stitch over it.

R: 1 – With C1, Ch 4, 2 dc in the 4th ch from the hook. (3 dc)
 

R: 2- Chgto C2, Leave c1, attached, ch3,
dc in the 1st dc, 1dc in the next dc, 2 dc in the last dc. (5 dc)
 

R:  Chgto C1, Leave C2 attached, ch3
Dc in the 1st dc, 1 dc in the next 3 dc, 2 dc in the last dc. (7 dc)
 

R: 4 - Chgto C2, Leave C1 attached, ch3
Dc in the 1st dc, 1 dc in the next 5 dc, 2 dc in the last dc. (9 dc)
 
R: 5 - Chgto C1, Leave C2 attached, ch3
Dc in the 1st dc, 1 dc in the next 5 dc, 2 dc in the last dc. (11dc)
 

R: 6 – Ch 1, 2 sc in the 1st dc, 1 sc in the next 7 dc, 2 sc in the last 2 dc,
Tie off and weave in your ends. (13 sc)
 

Make 3 For Each Bunting.




Part 2 – Make 3  Blue And White Triangles

Do not cut yarn when changing colors, carry yarn and stitch over it.
 
R: 1 - With C3, Ch 4, 2 dc in the 4th ch from the hook. (3 dc)
 


R: 2 – Ch3, join in C2, leave C1 Attached,
1 dc in the 1st dc, chgto c3, dc in the next dc,
Chgto c2, 1 dc in the next dc, chgto c3, 1 dc in the next dc. (5 dc)
 


R: 3 – Ch3, 1 dc in the 1st dc, 1 dc in the next 3 dc,
 2 dc in the last 2 dc. (7dc)
 


R: 4 – 1 dc in the 1st dc,
*Chgto to C2, 1 dc in the next dc, chgto C3, 1 dc I the next dc*
Repeat From * to * 2 more times, dc again in the last dc. (9 dc)
 


R: 5 – Ch3, 1 dc in the 1st dc, 1 dc in the next 7 dc, 2 dc in the last dc. (11dc)
 


R: 6 - Ch 1, 2 sc in the 1st dc, 1 sc in the next 7 dc, 2 sc in the last 2 dc,
Tie off and weave in your ends. (13 sc)

Part 3 - Finishing Up And Star

 Materials:

Yarn – Bulky (5) yarn – Gold - small amount
Crochet Hook - K/ - 6. 5.00MM
Yarn Needle

 Stitches:

Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Half Double Crochet (hdc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Skip (sk)

Size: 2.5 - 3 inches

Notes:

Ch 2 counts as a hdc

 Pattern:

R: 1 - Ch 5, join in a circle, ch 2, 9 hdc in the circle, join, ch 5
(10 hdc)
O   O    O    O    O
     slst  sc  hdc  dc
If you are going to use this as an applique, leave about a 12 inch tail
 of yarn for sewing in place.

 R: 2 - Turn, sl st in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in the next ch,

hdc in the next ch, dc in the next ch,

 

sk the next hdc, slst  in the next hdc, ch 5
Repeat R: 2 -  4 more more times for 5 star points, 

Join to the 1st hdc with a sl st, tie off and weave in your ends.



Trim / Ties

With C4 – Ch 12, sc in the 1st sc at the right corner of the Red and white stripe triangle,
  *ch1, sk the next sc, sc in the next sc* Repeat from * to * across 
Ch12 and repeat with the Blue and White Triangle,
Ch12 Repeat With the next red and White Tringle,
Ch12 Repeat With the Star

Continue to repeat alternating the Red and White and The Blue and White Triangles,
 using all 6 of the triangles, ch 12, and tie off.

Cluster Flower Granny Scarf Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

 Cluster Flower Granny Scarf

The Sweet Granny Square measures about 5 inches. 
It is just the right size to make a pretty scarf. 
And It can also be used to make bags, hats, 
blankets, wraps and just about anything.


Change up the colors For Fall, Winter, Spring and 
Summer, any Holiday and any occasion. Get lots of
 different looks and color combinations. 
It is also a great yarn stash busting project.


We are going to make the Square in the 1st Video,
 Than I will show you how to join them together
 and make it into the lovely Flower scarf in the 
 2nd Video, as well as, how to make a tassel for the
 point of the scarf.




Flower Granny Scarf Crochet Pattern

Please Add This Crochet Pattern To Your Raverly Favorites
 
Skill: Easy
 
Materials:
Crochet hook – I / 5.50 MM
Yarn – Med (4) Acylic Yarn, Vanna’s Choice/ Lion Brand yarn
            C1 – Yellow – 2 oz.
            C2 – White – 2 oz.
            C3 – Melon – 2 oz.
            C4 – Mint Green – 2 oz.
Yarn Needle
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Skip (sk)
Space (sp)
Change to (chgto)
 
Special Stitch:
Double Crochet Cluster (dccl) Yo, insert hook in the next st,
yo, pull the yarn through the st, yarn yo,
pull the yarn through the 2 loops on the hook
Repeat 2 more time – You will have 3 “uncompleted dc” on the hook,
YO, pull yarn through all 4 loops on the hook
 
Size: Each Square is 5 inches
You will need 15 Squares = about a 75 Inch Scarf
 
Notes:
We will be making this project in 2 parts
Part 1 – Making the Squares
Part 2 – Joining the Squares into a scarf, and the trim.

Ch3 Counts as a dc
Ch4 counts as dc, ch1
 
Pattern:

Part 1 – Let’s Make The Squares 
– Make 15

PART 1 VIDEO LINK




R: 1 – With C1, ch5, join, in a circle, Ch4,
 11 dc, ch1, join in a circle, slst to the 1st ch1 sp.
(12 sets of dc, ch1)


R:2 – Chgto To C2, ch2, dccl in the 1st ch1 sp, ch1
*dccl, ch1 in the next ch1 sp*
Repeat From * to * around, join to the ch2,
slst to the 1st ch1 sp.
(12 dccl, ch1)

R: 3 - Chgto To C3, ch2, dccl in the 1st ch1 sp, ch2
*dccl, ch2 in the next ch1 sp*
Repeat From * to * around, join to the ch2,
slst to the 1st ch2 sp.
(12 dccl, ch2)

R: 4 – Chgto C4, ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc in the 1st ch2 sp, ch1,
3 dc, ch1 in the next 2 ch2 sps,
*3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1 in the next ch2 sp,
3 dc, ch1 in the next 2 ch2 sps*
Repeat From * to * 2 more times, join to the ch 3,
slst to the next ch2 sp,
Tie off and weave in your ends.
(3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1, 3dc, ch1, 3dc, ch1 x 4)



Make A total of 15 squares.
If you add more squares For length, you need an odd number of squares.




Part 2 – Let’s Join Them Together
 To Make The Scarf –

PART 2 VIDEO -LINK



Joining the squares –
***Place 2 squares together, right side facing out.
 
With C1, join at the right corner, and sc in the ch2 sp, going through both squares,
Ch3, *sc in the next ch2 sp*
Repeat From * to * 3 more times,
sc again in the last corner, tie off and weave in your ends.
 


Repeat this till you have 7 squares stitched together***
 
Repeat From *** To *** 1 more times
You will have 2 sets of 7 Squares.
 


Join the last Square to both sides, to form a point,



as shown in the picture. do not cut yarn. 



 
Trim:
With C1, join yarn to the top right corner, in the ch2 sp, sc, ch1, sc in the ch2 sp, ch3,
Working around the entire outside edge of the scarf, Sc, ch3 in each ch2 sp,
and sc, ch1, sc in each of the outside corners, and the point of the Scarf.



At The inside corner, sk the 1st ch2 sp, sc in the next, ch3, sk the next ch2 sp.


Continue To repeat the edge trim, the rest of the way around, and join to the 1st sc.



Tassel:
If You like, use all four colors of yarn 
And  make a Tassel to hang at the Scarf Point.
It will add a touch of fun.
