The Cloudy Day Pocket Scarf is a great Father's Day gift, 
but The ladies will also love Scarf. It's a wonderful scarf
 for both the guys and the girls.
 The scarf is a a simple pattern and it fun stitch up.
the Pattern is what I call, 
"Sort of The Basket Weave Stitch".
It's similar but not exactly.
It has a wonderful texture, and those big roomy
pockets will make this scarf your favorite.

I Know Summer is upon on us, but I always get
 asked for new scarfs for Father's day. And you can 
start your Christmas presents early, because 
everyone will want one.
Don't Forget to make one for Your self.

Premier Yarn
Puzzle Cotton Yarn
Med (4) Weight
57% Acrylic 43 % Cotton

Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Front Post Double Crochet (fpdc)
Back post Double Crochet (bpdc)
 
Size: 9 X 36 Inches
3 chs = 1 inch
2 rows = 1 inch
 
Notes:
Ch3 Counts as dc
 
Pattern:

Scarf:

R: 1 – Ch 29, dc in the 4th ch from the hook,
1 dc in each dc across, turn, ch3 (27 dc)


R: 2 – 1 dc in the next 2 dc,
*fpdc in the next 3 dc, dc in the next 3 dc*
Repeat from * to * 3 more times, turn, ch 3
(15dc, 12 fpdc =27 sts)


R: 3 –1 dc in the next 2 dc,
*bpdc in the next 3 fpdc, dc in the next 3 dc*
Repeat from * to * 3 more times, turn, ch 3
(15dc, 12 bpdc =27 sts)


R: 4 - 1 dc in the next 2 dc,
*fpdc in the next 3 bpdc, dc in the next 3 dc*
Repeat from * to * 3 more times, turn, ch 3

R: 5 – 1 dc in the next 6 sts, bpdc in the next 3 dc,

Alternating every 3 rows
If a long Scarf is desired Continue
to repeat as many rows as needed.
 


Pockets – Make 2 - 8 X 9 inches
 
Repeat R: 1 – R: 10
Sc across the top of the pocket,
Leave yarn attached

 
Place one of the pockets on the front of the edge of the scarf,
Sc evenly down the side, across the bottom and back up the other side.
Tie off, weave the ends in securely.
Repeat on the other side.
