 a fun gift for a teacher or anyone who works at a school.
It's fun and easy to stitch up, and also fun to give.


 Leave the tail off and it's an applique, and magnet.
Add a Keychain and attach it to a teacher or student bag.

Materials:
Crochet Hook – H / 5.00 MM
Yarn – Med (4) Acrylic - Small Amount of Pink, grey, yellow, light brown, and black
Yarn Needle
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Front Post Double Crochet (FPDC)
Back Post Double Crochet (BPDC)
Single Crochet 2 together (sc2tog)
Single Crochet 3 Together (sc3tog)
Change to (chgto)
 
Size: 10 inches with chain
 
Notes:
Ch1 Does Not Count as a st
Ch3 Counts as dc
 
Pattern:

R: 1 With pink yarn. Ch 8, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook,
sc in each ch across, turn, ch 1 (7sc)
 
R: 2 - Sc in each sc across, turn, ch 1 (7sc)
 
R: 3 – Sc in each sc across, turn, ch 1 (7sc)
 
R: 4 - Sc in each sc across, turn (7sc)



R: 5- Chgto Grey yarn, ch1, Sc in each sc across, turn, ch 1 (7sc)
 
R: 6 - Sc in each sc across, turn (7sc)



 
R: 7 – Chgto to yellow yarn, ch 3, 1 dc in the next dc,
1 dc in each dc, turn, ch 3 (7dc)
 
R: 8 – FPDC in the next dc, dc in the next dc,
FPDC in the next dc, dc in the next dc,
FPDC in the next dc, dc in the next dc, turn, ch 3
(4 dc, 3 FPDC)
 
R: 9 -– BPDC in the next dc, dc in the next dc,
BPDC in the next dc, dc in the next dc,
BPDC in the next dc, dc in the next dc, turn, ch 3
(4 dc, 3 BPDC)
 
R: 10 –Repeat R: 8
 
R: 11 – Repeat R: 9
 
R: 12 – Repeat R: 8, Do Not ch 3


 
R: 13 – Chgto Light Brown, sc in the each sc, turn, ch 1 (7sc)
 
R: 14 – 1 sc in each dc, turn, ch 1(7sc)
 
R: 15 – sctog 1st 2 sc, 1 sc in the next 3 sc (5sc)
 sctog the last 2 sc, Turn



R: 16 – Chgto Black yarn, sctog 1st 2 sc, sc in the next,
sc tog the last 2 sc, turn, ch1 (3sc)
 
R: 17 – Sc3tog the last 3 sc, tie off weave in your ends.
 


Cut 2 pieces of yellow yarn 24 inches long.
Join the center of top of the pencil, and ch 12,
Tie the end and trim the tail.


I Love this simple project. It works up quickly
 and  has so many different uses.

A Small that fits a 16 oz - 20 oz. water bottle, 
and a Medium fits larger bottles. It is quick to Stitch up
 and can be made with cotton, Acrylic or any Med (4)
 yarn you have on hand. 

It can also be used as a drawstring bag to hang on
 your backpack or purse. It's a fun and useful bag.
It would also make a nice Teacher gift filled with school 
things or goodies.


This Fun Pencil Bag in the either  size,
 will also fit your phone, wallet, make up or a snack.
So This Bag has many different uses.
You can even Stuff it and a a little pillow out of it.

Small - 9 Inches around, 8 inches tall - Fits 16 - 20 oz bottles
Med- 11 Inches Around, 10 inches tall - Fits larger sizes

When Changing colors ch3 after the color change

           Brown - C1, Yellow - C2, grey - C3, pink - C4
Yarn Needle
Jar – 16oz. Canning Jar

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Back Loop only (blo)
Change To (chgto)
Front Post Double Crochet (fpdc)

Size: Fits a 16 oz. Canning jar (4 inches tall)

Notes:
Rounds are joined with a Slip Stitch
Ch 3 after the color change
Ch 3 Counts as a Double crochet

Pattern :
