American Flag Jar Cozie Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

American Flag Jar Cozie

Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach of

Posh Pooch Designs

The American Flag Jar Cozie is an easy crochet pattern that you can stitch up quickly for your family and friends. Give one to everyone coming to your 4th of July
get together, or any patriotic party or gathering.
They can keep it as a memory of the fun time they
 had at your party.

Make sure you make some for yourself, as well.
I've got my iced drink, let the grilling begin!

Tie off to the inside of the cozie.
And Slide it onto the jar.

To make the hole in the lid for the straw, mark the center
of the lid with a marker.
Then place  a Phillips Screw Driver on the mark,
and hammer gently till the hole is made.

Rub the
screw Driver
 around the edges
 of the hole
 to make it large
 enough for
 the straw.

The Canning jar is great for canning, of course,
but it also makes a nice glass to drink a nice cold
 beverage from.
It is also the perfect vase and planter.
And a pen, marker, pencil or crochet hook holder.
Add a candle or tea light for an evening get together.
They make great party favors or teacher gifts, too.

Whatever you are going to use yours for, they are
fun to make and give as gifts.
I prefer to drink an ice cold tea from mine.
