Child’s Spring Beanie Hat Crochet Pattern -

Add This Crochet Pattern To Your Raverly Favorite

Skill Level: Easy

Materials:
Crochet Hook – H / 5.00 MM
Yarn - Worsted Weight yarn (4)
             Bright Pink – C1 (3 oz.)
             Spring Green – C2 (1 oz.)
             Yellow – C3 – (1 oz.)
              Purple – C4 – (1 oz.)
Yarn needle
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Slip Stitch (sl st)
Space (sp)
Skip (sk)
Change (chg)
 
Size:
Baby Hat -13 – 14 Inch
Toddler hat – 15 – 16 Inch
Child’s hat – 17 – 18 Inch

Notes:
Ch3 counts as a st, unless indicated otherwise.
Rounds are joined with a slst.
 
Pattern:
 
R: 1 – With C1, Ch 5, join in a circle, ch3
 11 dc  join to the 1st dc, Ch3, (12 dc)
 

R: 2 – 1 dc in the same st as ch3, 2 dc in each dc around, join, ch 3
(24 dc)

R: 3 - 1 dc in the same st as ch3, 1 dc in the next dc, 2 dc in the next dc,
Join. ch 3 (36 dc)
Skip tp R: 6 For Baby Size
 
R: 4 -1 dc in the same st as ch3, 1 dc in the next 2 dc, 2 dc in the next dc,
Join.  (48 dc)
Skip To R: 6 For Toddler Size
 
 
R: 5 – 1 dc in the same st as ch3, 1 dc in the next 3 dc, 2 dc in the next dc,
Join. (60 dc) Child Size
 


R: 6 – 1 dc in each dc, join, ch3 (36, 48, 60 dc)



R: 7 – Ch 4 (counts as dc, ch1) sk the next dc, *1dc in the next dc, ch1, sk 1 dc*
Repeat From * to * around row, join to 3rd ch of ch4, (36, 48, 60 sts)
 

R: 8 – ch3, 1 dc in each dc and in each ch1 sp around, join, ch4
 

R: 9– Repeat R: 7
 
R: 10 – Repeat R: 8
 

R: 11 – Chgto C2, Repeat R: 7


R: 12 – 1 sc in each dc and in each ch 1 sp around, join, 
 
R: 13– Chg to C3, ch1, 1 sc in each sc, join, ch 1Tie off baby, and Toddler hats
 
R: 14 – Chgto C3, Repeat R: 13, tie off, weave in your ends.

Optional - Medium Flowers – Make 1 in your choice of colors
With C4, Ch 2, 12 dc in the 2nd ch from the hook, join with a slst to 1st dc.
Ch 3, 3 dc, in 1st dc, ch3, sl st in the next dc, ch 3, (1 petal made)
Repeat 5 more times for 6 petals. Tie off, and weave in your end.
Sew onto beanie.

I Love Spring, It's my favorite Time of year.
 
An when I think of Spring And Easter, I think of 
New born bunnies and little chicks.
So sweet and cute.

Today's Crochet Pattern and Video is a Crochet Pattern
 for a Hot Pad that can be stitched up in the the shape
 of a Easter Bunny or Spring chick. 
Both are just as cute as they can be and will Freshen up
 Your Easter and Spring Decorations. 


Remember:
 If you are going to actually us them as a hot pads, 
make them out of cotton or cotton blend yarn. 
If They are for decoration, than Acrylic yarns are fine.
Mine are all For Decoration so I used Acrylic yarns
 I had on hand.

Easter Egg Hot Pads Crochet Pattern
Stitch up a Bunny or Chick
 
Please Add This Crochet Pattern To Your Raverly Favorites

Skill: Easy
 
Materials:
Crochet Hook: I / 5.50 MM
Yarn- Med (4) Cotton, Acrylic or blends
            C1 – 1 oz. (pink or blue)
            C2 – 1 oz. White or Yellow)
            C3 – Yellow, pink – Small amount
            Small Amount of Black For eyes
            Small Amount orange for chick beak
            Small Amount pink for bunny nose, ears
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Half Double Crochet (hdc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Double Crochet Decrease/ 2 double Crochets together – (2dctog)
Shell Stitch – (shst) 3 dc in the same stitch
Skip (sk)
 
Size: 8 X 10 Inches
 
Notes:
Ch1 Does not Count as a st
Ch3 Counts as dc
 
Pattern:

R: 1 – With C1, Ch 17, dc in the 4th ch from the hook,
Dc in each ch across, turn, ch 3 (15 dc)
 


R: 2 – 1 dc in the same st as the dc, 1 dc in each dc across,
2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch 3 (17 dc)
 


R: 3 - 1 dc in the same st as the dc, 1 dc in each dc across,
2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch 3 (19 dc)
 


R: 4 - - 1 dc in the same st as the dc, 1 dc in each dc across,
2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch 3 (21 dc)
 


R: 5 – R: 6 – 1 dc in each dc across, turn, ch 1 (21dc)
 

 
R: 7 – sc in the 1st sc,
*sk 1 dc, Shst in the next dc, sk 1 dc, sc in the next dc*
Repeat From * to * 4 more times, turn
(5 shsts, 6 sc)
 


R: 8 – Chgto To C2, Ch3, 1 dc in the same st as the ch3,
*sc in the 2nd dc of the next shst, shst in the next sc*
Repeat From * to * 3 more times, 2 dc in the last sc, turn
(4dc, 4 shsts, 5 sc)
 


R: 9 – Chgto to C3, Ch1, sc in the ch1, *shst in the next sc, sc in the next sc*
Repeat From * to * 4 more times, turn, ch 3
 


R: 10 – Chgto To C1, Repeat R: 8
 




R: 11 – Chgto to C2, ch1, 1 sc in the 1st 2 dc, dc in the next sc,
* 1 sc in the next 3 dc of the shst, dc in the next sc*
Repeat from * to * 3 more times,
1 sc in the last 2 dc, turn, ch 3
(21sts)
 


R: 12 – 1 dc in each st across, turn, ch 3 (21dc)
 


R: 13 - 2dctog (with the 1st 2dc), 1 dc in next 17 dc, 2dctog (with the last 2 dc),
Turn, ch 1 (19 dc)
 


R: 14 - 2dctog, 1 dc in next 15 dc, 2dctog,
Turn, ch 1 (17 dc)
 


R: 15 - 2dctog, 1 dc in next 13 dc, 2dctog,
Turn, ch 1 (15 dc)
 
R: 16 - 2dctog, 1 dc in next 11 dc, 2dctog,
Turn, ch 1 (13 dc)
 
R: 17 - 2dctog, 1 dc in next 9 dc, 2dctog,
Turn, Tie off, Weave in Your ends.  (11 dc)
 


Trim: Join C1 to the left side of the hot pad where c1 begins,


Evenly sc around the bottom half of the egg till you reach C2,
Chgto to C2, and continue to sc evenly around th top half of the egg,
join to the 1st sc, tie, off and weave in your ends.
 


For Chick Beak - With orange yarn, Ch 5, slst in the 2nd ch from the hook,
sc in the next ch, Hdc in the next ch, dc in the last ch,
 tie off leaving a 12 in tail of yarn.
Place on front of chick and sew in place.
 


Bunny Ears:
With pink yarn, Ch 20, 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook,
 1 sc in each ch across (19 sc)
Turn, working down the opposite side of the ch,
1 sc st cross, join to the 1st sc, 
 
Chgto to White yarn, sc evenly around, join and tie off. Weave in ends.
 
Cut a piece of yarn about 10 -12 inches long.
Tie it around the center of the years and attach to the
 Side of bunny bandanna.
 


With Black yarn and Needle embroider the eyes on the chick / Bunny.
 
With Pink yarn and Needle embroider the nose on the bunny.

Hanger - Ch 12, attach to the top center the egg.
