Hexie Pot Holder And Washcloth Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

 Hexie Pot Holder And Washcloth
Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of  Posh Pooch Designs

The Hexie Pot Holder is a Hexagon Shaped
Pot Holder and Hot pad. It is a thick pot holder because
it is stitched in Front Post Double Crochet Stitches.
Perfect For setting Hot pots and dishes on to protect our
 kitchen and table surfaces.

The Hexie Pot Holder is also very pretty and will
look lovely on your dinning room table.
It has become one of my favorite style pot holders.

It also makes a nice washcloth because of the texture
of the Front Post Double Crochet Stitches
and it is the perfect size,
at 11 X 11 inches, for cleaning your face,
body, kitchen and bathroom.

Easy Front Post Cowl Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

Easy Front Post Cowl
Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach of
 Posh Pooch Designs

This is a great crochet pattern for practicing
Foundation Double Crochet  and Front Post Stitches.
Have figured out the New Color Pooling Technique?
I received some of the New Red Heart Pooling Yarn
 - Called Haute Pooling.
The other Pooling Colorways at This LINK
These Yarns are made with even 12 inch stripes of color
to make it easier to "pool" the colors of the yarn.

This Cowl works
 up really fast,
and once you learn
 the stitches,
it is really easy.
Easily adjusted
 to any size -
make it as long
or wide as
you want!
This Cowl is made using
Red Heart Super Saver Neon Stripes.

Skill: Easy to Moderate

Materials:
Crochet hook – H/ 5.00MM
Yarn - Worsted Weight (4) 5 oz.
I used Red Heart Super Saver Pooling - haute Pooling (1 skein)
Yarn Needle

Stitches:
Slip Stitch (slst)
Foundation Double Crochet (FDC)
Half Double Crochet (HDC)
Front Post Double Crochet (FPDC)

Size:  24 inches around X 8 inches

Gauge: 3 FDC = 1 inch, 2 rows = 1 inch
To make the cowl longer Add increments of 2 FDC, for the stitch pattern.

Notes:
Ch 3 counts as a dc
Rounds are joined with a slst

R: 1 – Option 1 - 72 FDC, join, ch 3
           (72FPDC)

R: 2 -*1 HDC in the next st, FPDC in the next st*
Repeat From * to * around, join, ch 3 (72 sts)

R: 3 - *1 HDC in the next HDC, FPDC in the next FPDC*
Repeat From * to * around, join, ch 3 (72 sts)

Make sure you are stitching HDC in a HDC, and FPDC in a FPDC.

R: 4 – R: 24 – Repeat R: 3

To make a matching headband only stitch 8 rows.

Tie off and Weave in your end after R: 24

If you want the Cowl bigger around, stitch more FDC
at the beginning in increments of 2.
If you want the Cowl thicker, continue to repeat R: 3
till its the size you want.
I Love the Swirl of the color pooling yarn.
Now to make the matching headband.

68 FDC to start.
8 Rows of the Repeat Rows.

I Love It!
