Noel Chevron Table Runner Crochet Pattern Posh Pooch Designs

 Noel Chevron Table Runner
Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

The Noel Chevron Table Runner is Another
Crochet Pattern For Christmas In July 2022.

This Table Runner is Stitched up using O'go
Redheart yarn in the Noel Colorway.
I picked up two when they were on sale at Walmart.
It is a Medium (4) yarn, so you can use any Yarn
colors as long as it's Med (4).
Solids, Stripes, Ombre or just put some of your
scrap yarns together from your yarn stash.

The Pattern is a one row repeat, so if you need more
length for your table, keep stitching as many rows
as needed for the length of your table.

Noel Throw Blanket Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

Noel Throw Blanket Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach Of Posh Pooch Designs

I have always loved the Christmas Carol, The First Noel,
but never really thought about what the word "Noel" meant.
So I looked it up in the Dictionary.
Here is what I Found.

Noel -
1. A Christmas Carol - The Choir Sang noels during
 the Christmas Season.
2. Christmas - Wished his friends a joyous Noel

A Little FYI -

"English speakers borrowed the word noel from French.

It can be traced further back to the Latin word natalis, which can mean

"birthday" as a noun or "of or relating to birth" as an adjective.

(The English adjective natal has the same meaning and is also

an offspring of natalis.). Noels were being sung in Latin or French

for centuries before the word found its way into our language in the

1800s. The earliest known musical use of noel occurred in the text of a Christmas motet called "Nova vobis gaudia", Which means "New Joys To You"

which was written in the 1400s."

I Think Calling My New Holiday Throw Blanket

"The Noel Throw Blanket" is A perfect name For it.

Than Name of The Stitch Pattern is

"The Snap Dragon Shell Stitch Pattern".

I Love The texture of this stitch pattern, as well as

how easy it is to stitch up.

I designed the throw blanket with Herrschers Holiday

Pastry Puff Cake Yarn in the Peppermint colorway.

It has red, white, greens and pink in long stripes.

I really love how it stitched up and looks.

It is a medium (4) weight yarn so any Medium (4)

yarn will work for this project.

You do not have to use Holiday colors, it will be lovely

 in any colorway.

The Stitch pattern is a Combination of Shell Stitches and

Double crochet stitches which makes it a easy pattern

to stitch up as well as a beautiful stitch combination.
