Scrap Happy Coffee Container Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach

 Scrap Happy Coffee Container
Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach Crochet
I Am Starting A New Series Called
"Let's Recycle"

I am finding items like containers and jars,
that we through away, looking for ways to reuse
them and incorporate Crochet and Crafts into it.

The Scrap Happy Coffee Container is easy and fun
to make, and also has a lot of different uses for it.
A yarn "bowl", and a plant and flower pot.
It makes a great storage container for lots
 of different things.

I designed it using the Scrub It Yarn from
Hobby Lobby, using up some leftover
yarn scraps. So I can even use it outside,
since it is designed to get wet. I can put my garden
tools in it or use it as a flower pot, or
hanging flower basket outside.

The Container is a 24 oz. Coffee container from
Aldi. The Folgers and other brand containers will
work great also, since the are about the same size.
Do not throw out those left over coffee containers away,
let's make them pretty and useful.

Sturdy Garden Basket Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach Crochet

 Sturdy Garden Basket
Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach Crochet

I designed the Sturdy Garden basket using the
Hobby Lobby Scrub-ology Scrub it yarn.
It is a perfect basket for gathering veggies and fruit,
as well as,  for rinsing off veggies
and fruit after picking because this
yarn is made to get wet and stay sturdy.
And It drys quickly.

The Basket will hold it's shape and stay sturdy.
The Scrub-ology yarns are quite bright,
so it makes a lovely colorful basket, too.

It even looks pretty sitting on the table filled
with veggies, fruit, dinner rolls or a pretty
 flower arrangement.

I have a plastic strainer I use when washing the
smaller veggies like beans and cherry tomatoes,
as well as, the small fruits likes strawberries and blackberries. The strainer fits right in side
the basket. It works great for for picking and washing.
I take the strainer out when I am done.

FRIDAY FUN DAY! Citrus Kitchen Scrubbers Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach

FRIDAY FUN DAY!
Citrus Kitchen Scrubbers Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

🍋🍊🍋🍊🍋🍊🍋🍊🍋🍊🍋🍊🍋🍊🍋🍊🍋🍊

The Citrus Kitchen Scrubbers are so fun to make.
They are so bright and cheerful, they making
scrubbing the dishes a lot of fun.  LOL!
Well, maybe not, but I sure enjoyed stitching them up.

I designed them using the Yarn Bee Scrub-ology
Scrub It yarn from Hobby Lobby.
It is a bulky (5) weight yarn and 100% nylon.
It is a good durable yarn and will last a long time. I still
have the ones I made about 5 years ago,
and they are still going strong.

If You do not have this yarn you can substitute
1 strand of cotton yarn and 1 strand of other scrubby
type yarns. Hold the 2 strands together
and stitch it up just like the pattern states.
I Made one this way to show you how it stitches up.

I love making them both ways.
I called them The Citrus Scrubber because it can
be a slice of orange, lemon or lime, or any color
you choose. I say make a bunch in lots of colors.
They make a nice gift set and everyone can use
some bright happy scrubbers.
