Live With Sara - "How and Where to Join" | Posh Pooch Designs

Today's Questions:

How and Where to Join?

How: When joining a round or row you ill join with a
Slip Stitch, unless the pattern tells you other wise.

Where: As a Rule you will join in the 1 sc if stitching sc.

Sometimes you will not join, you do a continuous Round . This works great for stuffed animals and circles.

You will join in the top of the Ch 2 or ch 3,
if using a ch 2, or ch 3 and it counts as a stitch.

but a Designer may have you join in a different way or place  for an effect or look they want the piece to have.

Can I substitute a different weight yarn
or different hook?

You can, but it may not work out or look the same,
or be the same size.

And if you use a different yarn, make sure
to use the appropriate crochet hook.

A Very nice lady emailed this to me, and I wanted to share it with you all.
