Crochet Pattern "Dog Eye Wash Pad"

My Dog Maximo  is mostly white and
those tear stains around his little eyes
 are so hard to wash.

I have used a Regular wash cloth but they are too big.
I bought some baby wash clothes but they are too thin.
So I decided to make some out of Cotton yarn.
I have found that the best thing to wash
his precious eyes is Refined Coconut oil.
I put a little dab on the eye wash pad and gently wipe his eyes.
Works quickly and perfectly. I made three different styles.
One is a single paw shaped pad, one is a single round pad
and the last one is a paw shaped pad
with a pocket to slip my first two fingers in.
The last is my favorite to use. The circle and paw shaped pads work but you have to hold them.
The paw shaped with the pocket is great,
because you just slip your first two
fingers inside the pocket and clean their eyes.

Awhh, that is so adorable. My dog always has gunk in his eyes. Here is how you can make a boric acid eyewash at home for yourself.
