Abstract Shawl - Crochet pattern

I am totally in love with this Shawl and
 how the pattern turned out,
 and especially this yarn.
It is amazingly soft and light.
The colors gently flow from tone to tone
 and shade to shade.
The light weight  yarn and the Long V Stitches
are perfect for a Spring Shawl.

Skill: Easy

Materials:
Hook - I
Yarn - 3 skeins of Red heart Boutique Treasure - Abstract

Stitches:
Chain ( ch)
Single Crochet ( sc)
Treble Crochet ( tr)
V ST  ( 2 tr, ch2, 2 tr)

Gauge:
This was a little more difficult to work out, so I have a picture to help you.
1 tr = 1 inch length, Shawl measures approximately 36 X 36

Notes:
ch 4 at the beginning of each row, counts as the 1st tr.

I used a I hook, But this shawl needs to be stitched loosely,
so if you are a tight crocheter you may want to go up a hook size.

R : 1 -  Ch 6, join to form a circle.
Work all these stitches in the circle - ch 4( counts as 1st tr, 1 tr, ch 2, 2 tr, ch2, 2tr,  , turn ( 3 tr Vsts)

R : 2 -  Ch 4, 1 tr in the space between the 1st 2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr in the same space, ch 2,
*2 tr in the space between the next 2 tr sts, ch2 *
Repeat  from * to * across row to the last V st,
2tr, ch 2, 2 tr in the last v st, turn ( 5 tr v sts)

Increase at the beginning of a row
and
Increase at the end of the row

R : 3 - Ch 4, 1 tr in the space between the 1st 2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr in the same space, ch 2,
*2 tr in the space between the next 2 tr sts, ch2 *
Repeat  from * to * across row to the last V st,
2tr, ch 2, 2 tr in the last v st, turn ( 7 tr v sts)

R : 4-35 - Repeat R : 3 Adding an increase V st
at the beginning and ending of each row, as shown in the picture.
(At R : 35 you should have 96 Tr V sts)

R : 36 -  ch1 1 sc  in the space between the 1st 2 tr, * 2 sc in the next  ch 2 space, 1 sc in the space between the next 2Tr *, Repeat From * to * across, ch 1, turn

R : 37 - 1 sc in each sc across, tie off and weave in your ends.

I know I already said this,
But I am in love with this yarn,
color and shawl!
