Friday Fun - Flower Pot Cozy Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

 Friday Fun With Sara
Flower Pot Cozy Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

I needed to stitch up some new Flower pot cozies,
as mine are quite worn out.
I decided it was time to retest and update my
Crochet Pattern and film a new Video Tutorial.

I Chose Some really bright cotton yarn.
Crafter's Secret Cotton From Hobby Lobby.
 The colorway is called Sprinkles.
I really love it.

I wanted some solid colors as well.
I really prefer a stiffer cotton for the pot cozies,
or covers, so they will hold up well.
some other great yarns for this is the
Peaches and Cream,
and Sugar and Cream cotton yarns.
Any Medium (4) Cotton will work just fine.

Grow Some Greens Easily
If you want to grow some greens, but do not
have a yard, you can grow them in a pot.
All You need is a container or 2,
Some soil and And Some Seeds.
And Some Water.

What Container?
A used Coffee container, ice cream tub,
Cool whip bowl or similar container.
Wash and rinse the container and the lid.
Poke a few hole in the bottom and fill with soil.

Plant An Assortment Of Seeds.
Lettuce, Kale, Arugula, and Spinach.
I grab a few seeds from each package and place
 them in the soil.
Use the lid under the container.

No Garden Need.
Set in sunny spot in the window, or on a patio.
You do not need a garden to grow wonderful greens.
Trim them when they are young and you will have
 lots of greens.
