๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’›

The Mitered Heart Granny Square is our "Scrap Happy"
project to February. I designed it using all yarns from
my left over medium (4) weight Acrylic yarn. I chose
colors I thought looked like Spring.

This Square can also be stitched up in cotton
medium (4) yarn and used as a washcloth or dishcloth.
It measures 10 X 10 inches so it's the perfect size.
and made in any color yarn. Solids, Ombre, variegated.

Make a blanket, a scarf, A bag, shawl, table runner,
tablecloth or whatever you choose to make will be lovely.
And remember hearts are not just for Valentines day.

So many fun ideas you will want to make
 a bunch of them.

FRIDAY FUN DAY - Accidental Heart Granny Square Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach

FRIDAY FUN DAY -
Accidental Heart Granny Square
Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

The Accidental Heart Granny Square was designed
when I was making a large Scrap Happy Blanket,
and the heart just happened by accident.
I was just grabbing all my scrap yarn, rolling it up and
making a blanket. The heart just happened!
I received many emails and messages wanting
 this pattern for the heart.

The Blanket Is the Scrap Happy Continuous
Granny Square Blanket
Click this LINK
for That Crochet Pattern

Here Is A Closer Look

I TURNED THE BLANKET TO SEE
 THE HEART BETTER.

So many people wanted the pattern, so I decided
to write out the Crochet Pattern
with the color changes, and called it the
Accidental Heart Granny Square.

The Square Can be made into a large square blanket,
or made into squares for lots of other projects.
Like hats, bags, blankets, vests, sweaters, a scarf,
cowl and just about anything!
It's super easy, super fun And a super way to
use up some scrap yarn.

Heart Shaped Pot Holder Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

 Heart Shaped Pot Holder
 Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of  Posh Pooch Designs

๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—

The Heart Shaped Pot Holder is Thick Because we stitch
up the Heart Using 2 strands of Cotton yarn. It makes
it safe as well. The Heart measures about 12 X 10 inches,
so it's a really nice size.

And Although I designed it to be Pot holder, it also
makes great Valentine's Day decorations. It can
used as a placemat, washcloth, doily or hang them
on a bunting and drape them around the room.

The color choices are totally up to you and what you
prefer. And even better, get in your cotton yarns,
and use up some of those yarns and put
some interesting colors together.  These hearts do not
have to be in traditional Valentine's Day Colors.

You will notice I have 2 size crochet hooks listed in
the Materials list. That's because we are using one
size for the heart and another size for the trim.
K/ 6.50 MM - Heart
H / 5.00 MM - Trim
The Heart is stitched with 2 strands of yarn and
the Trim is stitched with one strand of yarn.
