Let's Crochet A Turtle Together

Skill: Easy

Materials:

Crochet Hook- H / 5.00 MM

Yarn - Any Med (4) small amount of light green (c1) and Dark Green (c2)

Yarn Needle

Stitch Marker (st mk)

Stitches:

Chain (ch)

Slip Stitch (slst)

Single crochet (sc)

Double crochet (dc)

Back loop only (blo)

Front Loop Only (flo)

Size: 2.5 X 2.5 Inches

Pattern:

R: 2- With c1, Ch3, 6 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook. 

 mark you 6th st with a st mk, Do Not join (6 sc)

R: 2 -2 sc in in each sc, move st mk to last sc,

(12 sc)

R: 3 - *1 sc in the next sc, 2 sc in the next sc*

Repeat From * to * around, move st mk. (18sc)

R: 4 - blo, *slst in next 3 sc, ch3, slst in the 2nd and 3rd ch*

Repeat From * to * 4 More times 

slst in next 3 sc, ch 4, dc in the 3rd ch, sc in the next ch, join to next sc.

(4 legs, 1 , tail, 1 head)

R: 5 - Chgto C2, slst in each of the flo of R: 3, join to 1st sl st, 

tie off leave a 12 inch tail of yarn.

Use the Tail of yarn to st the detail in the turtle shell.
