Patriotic Ruffle Scrunchie Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

 Patriotic Ruffle Scrunchie
Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

The Ruffle Scrunchie is fun way to use up left over
yarns and make something pretty. I decided to use up
some of my Red, White and Blue Yarns and make them Patriotic. I Love Them!

It would also be fun to make them in your favorite
School and team colors. Cheer on your team by wearing the colors of your school and favorite teams.

The best part is that they are super easy
and fast stitch up. They can be made with any
Med (4) yarns and any fiber you have on hand.
I used I Love This yarn From Hobby Lobby.

Let's Make Some Velvet Scrunchies Together

Skill: Easy

Materials:
 Crochet Hook - I/ 5.50MM
Yarn - Any velvet yarn you have on hand (4-5 weight)
Yarn needle
Elastic Hairband
Fabric Glue - Optional

Stitches:
Chain (chain)
Double Crochet (dc)
Slip Stitch (slst)

Size - Whatever size hairband you have.

Pattern:
Slst the yarn onto the hair band, ch 4,
*dc, ch1*
Repeat * to * as many times needed to fill up the band.
(40-50 Repeats)
join to the ch 3, of the ch4, with a slst,
cut and weave in your ends securely.
(Shhhhh! I tie knots sometimes)

This is a time I would glue the knot and let it dry.
The velvet yarn likes to come loose.

My Grand Girls Love these, and I know they will want a bunch of these.

Scrunchies Are Back!
