Is This Silly or What?
I designed the Paw Print using Bernat Blanket
Yarn. It stitches up really quick and is so fun,
soft and squishy.
A fun pillow for any Pet lover.
It is a 14 inch pillow.
The Smaller pillow is made using 2 strands of Worsted Weight Yarn (4) and a J Hook.
It Measure 12 inches across.

Materials:
Crochet Hook
– N/ 9.00MM
Yarn –
Bernat Blanket yarn (6), 3 oz Antique White – C1, 5 oz of Sonoma – C2
Stuffing – Polyfiberfil
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch
(slst)
Single
Crochet (sc)
Double
Crochet (dc)
Change to
(chgto)
Skip (sk)
Size: 14 inches
Notes:
Ch3 Counts
as Double crochet
Rounds are
joined with a Slst to the chain 3
Pattern:
Make 2 – 1 with
only C2, 1 with both colors as pattern indicates
R: 1 – With
C1, Ch4, 11 dc in the 3rd ch from the hook, (1st 3 chs
count as a dc)
Join, ch3.
(12dc)
R: 2 - 1 dc
in the same st as the ch3, 2 dc in each dc round, join. Ch3
(24 dc)
R: 3 - 1 dc
in the same st as the ch3, 2 dc in each dc round, join. Ch3
(48 dc)
R: 4 – Chgto
C2, 1 dc in the same st as the ch3,
*1 dc in next
dc, 2 dc in the next dc* Repeat From * to *round, join.
(72 dc)
R: 5 – Chgto
C1, leave C2 still attached,
*sc in the next
dc, sk 2 dc, 5 dc in the next dc, sk 2 dc*
Repeat From *
to * 3 more times,
Chgto to C2,
cut off C1
**1 sc in
next 3 dc, 2 sc in the next dc**
Repeat From **
to ** around, join to 1st sc, ch1
R: 6 – 1Sc
in the next 2 sc, 2 sc in the next sc, 2 sc in the middle dc of each of the ‘toes”,
Join to the
1st sc, tie off weave in your ends.
R: 7 – Place
the front of the pillow, on top of the back, with the right sides facing out.
We will be
stitching through the front and back, to sew them together.
Join C2 to
the bottom right side of the pillow, Sc evenly up the side of the pillow,
place 2 sc
in the 2 middle sc of the ‘toes”,
Sc down the
2nd side, leaving the bottom open for stuffing.
Stuff
pillow, sc closed the opening, tie off, weave in your ends.
Eyes: make 2
With black yarn, ch 2 in the 2nd ch from the end make 8 hdc, join,
tie off leaving about an 18 inch tail of yarn.
Making sure to close the hole in the center of the eye.
Place on the front of the face and sew in place with the tail of yarn.
Stitch Eye lashes with long straight stitches if desired.
Smile:
With Black Yarn Embroider the smile on using straight long stitches.
Or leave the Cute Face off.
This would be great made in School ot team colors, too.
